         Hey everyone,

Some of you may remember I posted a few weeks ago (?) regarding my bunny Rowan having soft stool. Anyway, I altered his diet (down to 1/4 cup of kibble and unlimited timothy hay) and he’s been doing great for the past 2 weeks. However, today he had another present left for me and my mother has noticed that he’s not peeing as much as he used to. I ordered some Bene-Bac but I haven’t given him any yet. Going to try that today. Does anyone know how much to give a 4 lb rabbit?

With regards to his urine, has anyone experienced this with their bunny? His litter used to be soaked when I cleaned it out but now there’s not much at all. I’m extremely worried.

If anyone has any suggestions pls let me know!

Did you ever get a stool sample chcked on Rowan?

How is he acting otherwise? If he is not getting veggies now (and he used to)- he will may not have the same fluid intake without veggies.greens.

I didn’t bother getting Rowan’s stool checked when he started getting better, however I’m going to call the vet on Monday and make an appt. to check his urine and stool. I’m going to try and give him a corn starch bum-bath tonight…that should be fun.

As for the veggies, he hasn’t been getting those for awhile but he’s still drinking lots of water. I really think he has an infection or perhaps a partial blockage (I’m not really sure what that means but another bunny-mom mentioned it to me).

If he’s eating predominately dry foods he may be retain some water and it passing with his stool rather then urine. But definately a fecal test would be wise. Plus, poopy butt probs can lead to urine infections unfortunately.

Did you get the gel bene-bac? I think 1gram ????? Does the packaging advise at all?
