  I am having comcast install a landline phone. I don’t need a landline phone. But for my long term disability claim, they need to talk to me. They have tried calling me but apparently they can’t get through because the number is blocked. I don’t have any blocked numbers. I called Verizon to make sure. The very nice lady I talked to said there is nothing wrong on my end or with them so it has to be Metlife. Hence the stupid landline phone. Sigh. Comcast is coming on Feb 3rd. Luckily I’ll be able to cancel it in a few months.
  
  I am so sick of all of this. Everytime I call Metlife, I get told something different is needed, etc. My employer can’t even get through to them usually. Or they won’t give my employer any information. This might be due to privacy laws, but I’m not sure.
  
  I woke up in pain today and I’m not sure why. Usually I know right off – oh I did too much yesterday or something. But I didn’t do much of anything yesterday and my back is flared up along with all the symptoms.
  
  So that’s my rant. Not much but I just needed to vent and put it out there.

  Its the weather.   Changes in the weather can set off pain.   Humidity for one.   Cold fronts coming . For some people once the cold front arrives the pain stops.   For others it is the opposite.   Also stress. When stressed we can tense up causing pain too
  
  Also changes in baromatric pressure can increase pain.
  
  Phone problems   Crazy.   My son can’t call me collect I have no landline.   I tried to get paid minutes from a service but my county wnts 10.00 svc fee and 25.00 minimum. The one his girlfriend gave me doesn’t cover my county and they don’t charge any fees. Pfft I only have 10.00
  
  I won’t have any $ in Feb to spare cuz I have to pay the pet deposit 300.00
  
  Hopefully his next court date he will be able to get out.   I think my county messed up on this one. Totally.   They are the ones sent him to another county.   They knew where he was or could find him if they talked to the county they sent him to. DUH
  
  I understand your frustration with the phone. If you are dissabled you can get free link I think it is called. Food stamps will qualify you too. Then you only pay 7.00 to 13.00 for your landline a month depending on if you want extras like caller id and stuff.
  
  NO it is called Life Line   you send your proof of dissability or food stamps to a certain fax #.   The phone co can tell you where
