Member Brittany has often said how soft she imagined Lint to be so soft and mellow and I feel he is not getting enough exposure. Here is Lint’s velvetine softness in video!

Gosh, I could watch that video all day…it’s so pleasant to watch the hand especially go over his head and his eyes close. Lint is aptly named…soft as lint. And seeing your great dane in there is wonderful too.

Yes, you can see how soft Lint is especially when you ruffled the fur on his hinie – so velvetine and plush…can I come over too, if I bring some San Francisco sourdough bread? lol

Marmite?? I can’t stomach that! You really eat that? How? Would it be possible to have imerial cookies instead?

From Australia I would like a basket full of merino wool. It is cold here.

Lint weighs 4 lbs. He should cut back really. He has the ability to stay round even if he just eats hay. He does not approach me for pets, he just gives in when I catch him in an opportune moment. Lint is my oldest and he must have had a stressful start in life because he was a toy of two very young toddlers before. The first year I could not pick him up without getting scratched up and him having a thousand fits. He also used to bite my dogs pretty hard. He was very bossy when he was only with Mops, constantly looking for grooms without ever giving any but he has changed completely. He now is gentle to pick up, gently grooming the others and never bites my dogs. He is my most well-behaved rabbit as he does not destroy things any longer. He could be free-range if he was an only bun, his litter habits are perfect too. Another interesting fact about Lint is that he is now very good at avoiding confrontations with other rabbits. I call him my diplomat.

I’m pretty confident there is nothing more wonderful than Mini-Rex fur. Yes, a Lint petting Party. Can I bring Stormy too? He will bring a nice treat from the Maritimes. How about some yummy Maple Cream (we’re also known for lobster here but I’m not bringing any because they creep me out…those little beady eyes.)?

It is a long haul. I hate it every time. It takes three days or more.
I just realized the other day as I browsed the bonding forum that you had started many threads about your bonding and you just kind of stopped. I don’t think you even had a major fight, you just quit.

You’re right, Petzy, and I could not feel more guilty about the whole situation. It was just really going nowhere; they were just getting more stressed and not warming up to each other at all. I tried a bunch of different things including the car rides but it seemed to make things worse. I found the whole experience extremely stressful because I’m terrified they hurt each other. I also worried about the effects all the stress would have on Stormy because he is getting up there in age.

They just seemed to have such a hostility towards each other and there was constant lunging and biting attempts. I know once in a while is normal but it’s hard to keep them together for a few hours when they just won’t cut it out.
