I woke up with the blah blues this morning have you ever had a dream that was so vivid you though it was real? I did…. I dreamed that Basil has just gotten out and hadnt passed away and he came back to me! doing his silly binkies and then jumped in my arms! The dream seemed so real I could feel his velvety fur as I snuggled him….when I woke for a few seconds I didnt remember he was gone… then it slapped me wide awake when I realized he wasnt in his cage next my bed… I miss him…love you Basil

Did any of you have dreams like this when you lost a bun?

BunBun1 posted about a dream after Eddie passed. I don’t know what you believe in but I like to think those dreams are them visiting you. It can be sort of healing.

I have not had that experience with a pet, but when my mother passed away over a year ago, I dreamt about her monthly. She would be ill, but she would be still smiling at me.

To me, it was very comforting to know that she is in a better place and no longer suffering.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Basil *hugs*

Basil was trying to tell you thank you for good life and want to say goodbye to you..

Its normal for animals to come to human’s mind when humans are sleeping to say goodbye..

So… you are special one that helped basil to have good life.. so be grateful for it..

I’ve actually dreamed about Eddie twice now. Once he was happy and binkying. The other one I was snuggling with him. And like you…I could feel him and I woke up, expecting me to be holding him. In the dream, I was on the floor and he was hopping around and I grabbed him and we snuggled and fell asleep.

It does help to think that he’s visiting me and letting me know he’s ok. But it’s also bittersweet cause I miss him so very much. So hugs to you!

Hugs to you. I had a very vivid dream about my cat, Ash, about a month after he passed. I knew it was him saying bye to me.

Thank you guys for all the hugs I have had two dreams of him now and yes they are bittersweet. I think it is him dropping by to check on me to make sure Me and his best kitty Sky is ok! And that makes me feel good! I walked to his grave today and a wild bunny shot out from behind the log next to his grave! It just made me smile
