So Marley went to the et today and they discorvered a sore on both hind legs. It looked like a calus/scab.

He said to rub vasoline on them to keep them moist.

Is there a better treatment or just more treatment that i could be doing? she lives on a carpet and a blanket so i dont know why sje would get sores. Should i give her something more comfy?

Bunnies can get sore hocks from just about any floor.

Personally, I like using “Bag Balm” on my rabbits’ sore hocks. It’s an ointment made for dry skin and small rashes on animals. You can get it just about anywhere that has over-the-counter pet medicines.

I have experience with sore hocks. My rabbit has fleece and faux fur blankets and still has occasional hock trouble. Are the sores pink or red? And do they look swollen like an ulcer or flat?
