Noot passed away this morning, sometime between my five am check and seven when I got up. He was doing poorly this weekend, I kept him comfortable and spent the weekend holding and petting him alternately letting Norman comfort him. He looked very peaceful just as if he was sleeping all stretched out. I can’t write anymore but I will later. I miss my Nooty man ![]()
Oh K&K – I will miss sweet Noot. I’m so sorry. He had a good life with you and I know you will miss him terribly.
Hugs K&K. I am so sorry. He was such a sweet little man. He could not have asked for a better family.
(((Binky free Noot!!!)))
K&K I am SOOO sorry. You will be in my thoughts.
Binky Free little Noot, watch over your Momma from the other side of the Bridge, where Chuck waits for you.
*hugs*
Oh no, so sorry to hear about Noot!
You’ve got so much stress going on there with the various furry ones, this must be so hard on you. *hugs*
Binky free Noot.
– Annette
I’m so sorry. It’s so sad even when you know it’s their time. Maybe he just couldn’t resist Chuck calling him anymore. He was certainly well loved and will be missed around the forum. ****Hugs to you****
(((((Binky Free Noot))))))
oh no, not our Noot! I’m so sorry, it is so hard even when you know it’s time. I will miss his adventures here and I know he has a special place in your family’s hearts. What a wonderful life he had with you. Now I’m crying.
Binky Free Noot, if ever a bunny earned his wings it was you.
((((hugs to you))))) Kathy and the furballs
Sorry about Noot
I’m sure he looked peaceful because he was.
Oh no, not Noot! (cries) I’m so sorry Lesley, I know you must be devastated and I’ve got tears running down my face right now. Bless him, he was such a sweetie and yet I know he and Chuck are snuggling together and watching over you all.
Poor Norman too, they were just getting to know each other. Jeez, when it rains it pours!
Lighting a candle for Noot, although with all the love light he cast, I’m sure he found his way okay.
Hugs to you, dear. Again, I am so sorry! ;_;

My heart goes out to you Lesley. He was a special boy for you and for Chuck. I know Noot was a elderly bun and it was only a matter of time…He’s slipped away on his own schedule. It’s nice really that he was at home. Don’t be sad for him, he’s reunited with Chuck and his other old mate. *Binky free Noot! You were a delight to know*
Cuddles for little Norman and many hugs for you.
I’m sorry K&K. I hope you find comfort in many happy memories of your Noot.
I’m sorry to hear about Noot. He was truly a wonderful bunny – Chuck wouldn’t have had a very good life without him. I’m sure that you gave Noot a wonderful life. Wherever he is now, I’m sure he’s with Chuck again. ![]()
First, please excuse my upset email to you just now via the alert button, but I was just learning this and am so upset and shocked. Ok. Deep breath.
I have heard it said that sometimes the angels appear to us in the guise of living beings to interact with us directly in ways we can relate to. I think it’s very likely that Noot was an angel. He came to you and Chuck after patiently enduring a sad beginning with his spirit intact, and was a gentle companion and teacher for the amazing and darling Chuck. Then he slowly slipped from us. I think he is one of those very amazing and special creatures on this earth that I feel very privileged, however indirectly (via an internet) to have known. And only the most special of human beings, like you and Dave, are given the chance to dwell among the angels.

I agree with Pam. He was definitely a guardian angel for Chuck. He just went back home now because his job is done.
I’m sorry but it sounds like he went fairly peacefully. He was fortunate to be in a good home for his last years. Did you ever find out where his name originated? Was it because of nutella? What is your piggy doing now? Is he lonely?
Even though Noot was not with you as long as you would have liked- the wonderful quality of life that you gave him was an amazing gift. Everybunny deserves a loving forever home and Noot was lucky to have had you in his remaining years. He was such a special bunny to both you and Chuck.
I’m sorry, I really am. ((((hugs))))
I’m so sorry. Noot was such a great bunny taking care of Chuck! He was so loved by you and had such a good life with you. Binky Free Noot!
Hugs to you K&K!
I am so sorry KK, lots of hugs to you
Binky free Noot! ***hugs***
Oh no I am so sorry.
Binky Free little Noot!
(((K&K))) Hope you’re doing okay.
Aw, man. I’m crying for you again.
Oh no! I just saw this now. I’m so so sorry for your loss 🙁 He was such a special little bun and we’re all going to miss him. ((((hugs))))
k&k i’m so so sorry that you lost your sweet noot. he has gone to be with chuck again. binky free noot!
(((((((((hugs)))))))))
I’m so sorry! Even when we know the time is coming, it is still never easy. (((Hugs))) for you and your family.
I have to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It’s so supportive to have people who understand-helping me through this. It was suprising….It was like losing Chuck again. I don’t know-it felt like Chuck was released, but still here. When Noot left it was hard-as hard as losing both…it was like they were both here for a few days but then as if they were both gone, very upsetting-more so then I prepared myself for. Though of course my mom was awesome and my boss was suprisingly supportive, it is so helpful to login and read what you all said about Noot, and to know he was cared for outside of this house and that I’m not the only one mourning his loss.
I know Chuck isn’t mourning his loss but instead showing him around.
I want to post some pictures of him, although you’ve seen them, It feels right. Hope you don’t mind a little photo tribute.

Noot with Norman-I don’t regret Norman for a second, he was no Chuck but Noot seemed happy with him.
Always in my heart will be the night I brought Noot home and introduced him to Chuck, and what I expected and didn’t expect happened. They just hung out like old friends. I wish they had more time together.

And together in their first diggs

Goodbye Noot. I know you are with Chuck now looking after him for me. it was a pleasure, i miss you both dearly.
Did you ever find out where his name originated? Was it because of nutella? What is your piggy doing now? Is he lonely?
I’d always thought it was like a newt like a little guy…but no I have no idea. Piggy is doing well though he was frantic that morning. I let him go a week with no bugging, just a towel fort and treats. he was pretty devestated. It was upsetting majorly but I think I would have been mad at him (as if that makes sense!) if he hadn’t been sad. Talked to my vet and she doesn’t want Norman around Rupert and Kahlua just in case there was something communicable, so he’ll need a piggy friend eventually. Keep ya posted.
Lots of hugs from me and my gang KK. He is now with Chuck binking all over the rainbow bridge.
