› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › Pics! A walk in the snow and WILD BUNNY!
We went for a walk in the snow this morning… we later learned it was 10°F…
Cheeks like beets!
But we saw some pretty scenery and the MOST disapproving wild bunny I have ever seen ![]()

Wow, gorgeous. Yes, bunny is very cute but very disapproving.
He could be thinking a number of things, such as “Get away from me, fool!” or “I will eat your soul for breakfast!”
Beautiful pics! And wow that’s one grumpy looking bunny….will he not turn white?
I dunno… we get snow on and off, so maybe it doesn’t last long enough for him to turn white.
He did have a white tail though! We saw it as he was romping in the snow : D
Bwahaha Liz!! Giggle giggle
Bunny is so angry faced!! I wonder why its so peeved.. perhaps the humans disturbed its pooping peace?
Momto3boys, the wild bunnahs don’t turn white. It is the snowshoe hare that does
its quite gorgeous. Looks like a pillow! I’d love to put my face in its soft belly!
lolololol I don’t know what it was… I don’t think he was actually mad; he just had a funny lighting on his face, or his fur was was a certain way, or maybe I accidentally put my camera on the “angry” setting…
Perhaps baby face planted, because there is slight snow on its nose?
I’m going with “I will eat your soul for breakfast!”

My, that is one very round and angry bunny!
Love the third picture!!
So disapproving!
Wow! There’s nothing more beautiful than a sunrise. I wish I could see them more often but I’m lazy… And add a bunny to the mix and you got yourself a pretty awesome morning, I reckon!
Man, it’s a good thing you came back alive! Wow, what a grumpy and angry face! lol
The sunrise pictures are beautiful!
Cool, we don’t have any wild bunnies around here just Hare and they’ve been white for mths now.
Those are beautiful pix, Lizzie! And I thought we had some awesome sunsets here!
Hope you had a nice hot cup of cocoa when you got back.
That bun is so gnarly lookin’…he just made my desktop that much crankier! ^_^ lolz….
This reminds me, on New Year’s Eve I was doing laundry at my local ‘mat, on my way home driving I suddenly see this flash of white scurry across the road. My first thought was, “somebody’s cat…” then I realized it was a widdle bunny! 0_0 It was SO cute! Couldn’t have even been a year old!
I thought it was a very fortunate omen, what with this being the year of the rabbit and all! ![]()
Oh, I totally agree. They are *everywhere* here!! You can barely set foot outside without seeing one. And obviously they are pretty used to humans. Normally I wouldn’t think that was a good thing, but everyone seems to love them here. You just can’t be in a bad mood when you see them zooming around or wiggling their little butts in the snow. It’s like the world is their playground!
that is such a angry face on that bunbun!!! Beautiful pix!!
Mimz….where the heck have you been!?!?!?
oh dear… serious disapproval… stand clear! lol
gorgeous pics ![]()
I’ve never seen a wild rabbit before. We only have hares here too, but they are really big and cute. I used to love going out in the woods as a kid and trying to catch a glance of one. I’d find an area with lots of poos and do a stake out. Sometimes I’d leave carrots and apples for them. My backyard was right in the woods so I had lots of fun there as a kid. I miss it. ![]()
It sounds so beautiful. Do you have any pictures to help you remember it?

we have lots of wild rabbits here. i almost hit one on my way home from the gym this week
. the weather was bad so when i saw it dart out onto the street infront of me i had a split second of shear panick and loud scream but i was able to safely brake. no need to worry. phew. also fortunate that there was no other traffice because the silly bunny stopped in the middle of the street, then turned around and back-tracked a few hops, then turned around again, then paused, and finally decided to continue across the street. must’ve known i was bunny friendly ![]()

Mimz….where the heck have you been!?!?!?
Sorry guys…been so busy trying to finish decluttering the house with my boy before he goes back to college next week. Plus I got a good case of the crud in the last week or so and haven’t felt 100% since. First time since I was a kid that I’ve had to toss up so bad. >.< My hubby thought I was in for the hospital.
Add to that my stupid internet phone line went kaput, so I’ve been only able to use my house phone line and that only in the wee hours for a little bit at a time. Really sux.
Until that other phone line is fixed, and school starts again, I’m going to be a bit scarce.
Apologies.
oh hon, I didn’t know you were sick!
Awww Mimz
I’m so sorry!! Please take care of yourself. We miss you here!
Get better MM!!! Hope to see you online more soon ![]()
I’ve been thinking about you too Mimz…you’re not allowed to go AWOL for very long…. ![]()
Lizzy- I wish I had pics of the woods I used to love so much but I don’t have many. Just a few of my cat and me but I remember it all so well. After my Dad died my Mom sold the house and shortly thereafter a huge chunk of the woods was torn up to make new houses. I can’t go back there ever, I would be so devastated to see all the woods tore up. It was so beautiful and full of wildlife. That really makes me mad when they do that. Animals need places to live to. ![]()
aw man. Yeah, I agree, I don’t think you should go back there. Just keep those memories of the way it was, when it was a forest filled with beauty and animals.
Guess who ended up on Disapproving Rabbits?
