        hehehehe….

Sorry the pic’s are crappy, but I’m sure you can still make out his cutness.
Buddy had one-on-one time with me last night before bed. He had fun digging and pushing the blankets around, munching on a carrot and getting cuddles.

I think i am getting too attached, but there’s something about him that has always drawn me to him since i first saw him in the shelter. I did some asking about his background, and got a sad story. Buddy lived with a lady in her appartment free run, not just free run in her’s but he’d also run to the neighbours as well, his favorite spot was in front of the fridge, he was even fatter then! The women was 64 and died of cancer. The man who lived in the next apartment Buddy woudl visit couldn’t care for Buddy so he was given up to us.
At the shelter he wasn’t very interesting, would run away from you mostly, but at my place he’s a little goof, loves to binki during his out of cage time, begs like a little dog for treats and runs around your feet. He also comes to greet me! He’s not affraid of anything/anyone.

I’m only supposed to have him till the weather warms up and he can go back to the shelter…. and i really ‘should’ stick to that plan LOL…
I can’t let the little old lady lionhead outside of the rabbit area of my house because she has a lot of ‘accidents’, Buddy so far is pretty good with his litter habits.

Cuteness! I love how his face stripe is off to one side. He does look like he’s moving in. lol
He looks an ideal weight. He was fatter? How is he with other rabbits? Is he a people bun more than a bun’s bun?

WHOA I don’t think that bunny could be any cuter! So nice of you to commit for caring for him, yeah you may get attached, but worse things have happened Personally, I wouldn’t be able to give up a rabbit that cute, even to a good home, unless I had visitation rights!

LOL… you guys make me laugh.
He was WAY fatter before, he’s only a little pudgy now. You know when a dog looks like a foot stool b/c it’s so fat it’s backs flat? Well buddy was like that! (Hence I nicknamed him Football)
He is trying to dominate my other bunnies when they are out, always trying to hump, if anyone runs by he tried to chase them None of my bunnies hump, and they are good with new bunnies. I have only let them all out under supervision during feeding times.
I can’t tell if he’s a people or a bun, bun. He’s sorta “I’m the Boss of everything” thinking he’s a big dog not a little rabbit :p

I’m still tossing around the idea of him meeting Pitters…. humdeedum…

Was wondering if he had met Pitters or if Pitters has gotten wind there’s somebunny been in HIS part of the house!

I think he’s a netherland, he’s shaped that way, small ears etc.
I’m a little protective of Pitters, specially since he was sick last week, less stress the better. Right now I think Buddy may be a little to much for Pitters.
I sure am enjoying his company, he’s cuddlier then most of my guys (Pitters excluded). I think when I was putting Buddy away last night and snuggling him Baby was giving me the evil eye … lol, He wants to be the only Cutie in the house.

The word “Squeeeeeeeee” has been thrown around a lot these days…but seriously “Squeeeeee”. You should keep him

What a sad story that his beloved owner died. At least he got to experience the love of a human.

I brought Pitters downstairs with me during feeding time so he could say hi to his old friends, and see if he was interested in saying hello to the two new bunnies. Poor Pitter was terrified and wanted nothing to do with any of them
Buddy chased him, I ended up putting Buddy in his house while everyone else got to get pets and treats from me.
Little Puff, she didn’t seem to mind any of the other bunnies, and always wants to go into Baby & Bubbas house to eat their pellets LOL… She’s such a silly old lady.

I’m thinking even if i wanted Buddy to stay, his personality isn’t laid back enough for my bunch.
