        Hey everyone,

I am fostering two bunnies for the rest of winter, one is a little Hymi lionhead named Puff. I don’t know her age.
I have never fostered a red eyed bunny before, though I did used to keep gerbils, one thing I learned with red eyed gerbils was they sometimes would loook ‘drunk’ when focusing on something. They would move their head or even bodies sometimes trying to get there eyes to focus on the object they were looking at.

So, my question is, Do REW bunnies do the same?

This bunny has had a lot of health issues this year, including two seizures the day before I picked her up. So I am trying to get an idea to what may be normal behaviour, and what could be an illness. Oh, she pees EVERYWHERE, i pick her up with a towel. I suspect some back end mobility issues, I’ll be vetting her at my Vet soon, i just am gathering more information on her to take with me.

Some REWs do it more than others. My REW has never really done much “scanning”, but I’ve heard that most REWs do.

Yeah, I sort of thought it was the same thing with both species. I’ve just not seen it with the rabbits untill this morning with Puff.
I had a gerbil who must have been half blind b/c she seriously looked drunk LOL, I named her Tipsy :p

            Thanks
