        Hi everyone.    I had hennaed my hair and woke up was very cold and had gotten sicker again a week ago. Dr said stay on inhalers been doing a lot better.

        Plus  I remember a few years ago I had heard about your toothbrush can hold sicky germs and reinfect you.   ON remembering this I waited til I felt better then soaked it in bleach.  I have an electric one and just changed the brush 2 months ago.   I didn’t want to throw out the new brush just yet.

        I have been steadily improving and haven’t gotten worse again.

        You can either throw out the toothbrush and get a new one or bleach it.

        Just thought I would let you know just in case this might have been happening to someone else.

        Stay well wishes n happy new year

            I hope you feel better bunnytowne.

            One can bleach a toothbrush? I didn’t know that. o_O;;

            I use an electric one and my dad always buys the refills and gives me one for a few months time.

            It is like any other personal hygiene item… especially make up o_O Omg.. there are germs lurking in make up!

              Actually, if you’ve already been sick, and gotten over it, you have antibodies and can’t get sick from the same thing again. So unless those germs are mutating on your toothbrush and becoming a new strain, you shouldn’t have to worry.

                I will pour rubbing alcohol or peroxide on my sonicare toothbrush head sometimes to disinfect it.

                  Even just soaking the head in Listerine can do wonders for disinfection. You also want to rinse your mouth with Listerine (once daily) but especially if you’re sick. It’s a good idea to toss the toothbrush once you’re sick, but I know people don’t do it.

                    I told my neighbor about that.   She been real sick too.   Mum making soup like crazy and bringin her some too.   She likes my cooking lol

                    This lady does n does for others.  She been sick b4 and no one but me n the man neighbor did anything for her.  She doesn’t ask for much tho.  The fellow got some med for her.   HE called tonite to give her some soup too.

                    She doens’t call people to tell them she sick.   Usually we end up calling her if we haven’t seen her for a bit.  Then we find out.

                    1 other person I found knew about the toothbrush thing already too.
