  Rufus is not doing so well. His tooth op was 2 weeks ago and the mouth has healed up well but he is still dropping and also a little off…. so the vet has decided that we will put him on daily pain meds for the next little while. His weight is holding so that is not an issue and we are going to keep up the injections every two days. Part of me knows that this might be the begining of the end and the vet has said that he is living on borrowed time and has been for a while now, however I said that I am not realy to stop fighting for him and we will keep going from there.

  Hang in there, both of you. It is stressful to live with a chronic condition, especially if it means watching a decline, but in an odd way it brings you closer to your bunny. I hope the pain meds allow him to feel a bit better during the holidays and the new year.

  {{{Rufus}}} My parents dog just had tooth surgery as well and we’re all kind of sitting on pins and needles here waiting to know if this is it, or what I can sympathize *HUGS*
