WOW
First they make it sound like pellets are the staple, hay is dessert and veggies are a treat…WOW
And hello on cecals..
Rabbits engage in relatively uncommon but normal behavior when they deliberately eat small, soft, moist (often mucus covered), light green fecal pellets directly from the anus.
It’s UNCOMMON but NORMAL yeah that’s also STUPID and SMART…???? And WET and DRY…. *sigh*
A wire cage??
Zomg….
. A roomy wire cage with at least one-half of the floor’s surface area covered with Plexiglas or washable towels is recommended. The
Plexiglas or towels provide relief from constant and continual contact with the wire floor, helping to prevent hutch sores on the feet.
Yup if someone made me stand on a wire floor 24/7 a towel would relive my feet
How bout my personal favorite (this was as per here, actual emergency vet advice for a rabbit with a ‘cold’) ‘give him a carrot for vitamin C (remember, guinea pigs and humans are the only mammals who cannot manufacture their own vitamin C)-they should put that on their site too!
Oh *sigh*
WOW to be honest I’m just wow’ing…..I would send links to like dana krempels, rabbit.org, binkybunny.com …I just…wow…
