Hi,
It’s been 8 weeks and 3 days since we’ve brought Maddie home. We’ve progressed (very slowly) to the point where both bunnies can be in the same room with each other without incident. I can even leave them alone. Problem is, they ignore each other. Lately when I snuggle and pet Nibbles, Maddie will come bounding over and groom her. Nibbles will not groom in return. But…yesterday morning Maddie went over to Nibbles on her own, started grooming, and *drum roll please*….Nibbles groomed back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! Looking back, it’s been a looong 8 weeks. It’s amazing how used to things one can become–the separations, the play dates, the worry, the tension. I still can’t believe it happened when I least expected. If I hadn’t have been looking I would have missed it. Ok, yes, I’ll admit it—I actually cried when she groomed back!!
