I got her 3 bags of Meadow grass yesterday and I’ve been feeding her that exclusively. She snubs the bags of Orchard that I’ve given her (I should be getting my organic orchard from BB in a few days or so.. I’ve heard good things about it!) so I have been giving her Meadow. She hasn’t had meadow in a few months because I haven’t seen it in stores, only online.

I’m not sure if hay has anything to do with this, but I slept downstairs with her (my bed is really getting uncomfortable) and decided to let her out to play when I woke up. I changed her litter box after I ate breakfast, and she jumped into her litter box to poop. I put some grass in it for her as she loves to do her business and eat hay. This is what came out of her after she jumped out of the box:

Is that cecal?   Should I be worried?

It’s a cecal… What else have you been feeding her?

Meadow, some oat, usual romaines and cilantro.

She is currently in her potty box. I will check it after she gets out.

Hmmm…. She may “take care of it” in a minute, but they usually take the cecals from one end and directly into the other. I wouldn’t stress about it too much if it’s just one little pile. Keep an eye on it for the next few days though. Any change in diet, even going from an old bag of hay to a new bag of the same type of hay can cause some tummy issues (except with frankie, he could eat a piece of steel and be okay I think). I think you just need to keep an eye on it maintain her normal diet.

Her poops are normal, in fact, I’ve noticed her poops are large. I never see her cecals because she is a literal poop machine. She poops a lot.

Haha, my mom calls Felony the CocoPuff factory. I wouldn’t worry too much, but just keep an eye on it. The first time my boyf saw a cecal he was texting me a million pictures and calling me frantically at work. Haha. I simply told him, “You know that banana, apple and 3 pieces of dried pineapple you gave him? You’re looking at it.”

Every once in a while I will find an uneaten cecal. I wouldn’t worry too much, but just keep an eye out if you find many more.
