I’ll start. Have your back to a wall when seated to allow support and protection, while facing in the direction that is most auspicious for you. Never turn your back to a doorway.

Ears are able to pick up all sorts of energies. Rest your spirit and conserve your strength by using them sparingly.

              LOL
              Wise advice, grumpybun.

Also, snuggling up tight in a forward direction seems to create a protective chi swirling around the calm centers.

The protective chi can further be harnessed by staggering the buns. (Bad link, but I love this photo)

Eating from a white bowl will encourage a chi of purity and goodness to surround you

Cute pics! I’m very interested in learning about Feng Shui for bunnies or otherwise. I think it sounds interesting. Can anyone suggest a good starting website?

LPT, Lillian Too’s books came very highly recommended (I have two) so I just did a search for her website. Here’s a link:

                    http://www.lillian-too.com/

Haven’t checked it out for pets, but the principles will be the same. I need to re-read, but since our animals are very, very aware and sensitive to their surroundings, it probably is ultimately helpful.

Thanks I will check out the link.

A few years back one of my horse magazines did an article on Feng Shui for the stable and it was really interesting although not very practical but I can’t find that issue.

I don’t know enough about the principles to really add anything but I am enjoying seeing the bun shui pics so far! : )
Isn’t there something about balancing elements – wind, fire, water, earth?

I have to confess (as is probably evident) that I know nothing of feng shui but am talking rubbish as an excuse to share pics of my buns.

Does nobody else want to play? Where are the buns?!

You’re right about the elements, though I think metal may be a 5th in Feng Shui.

                            Here’s a water element symbol:

                            air:

                            earth: and fire:

I’ll have to use what I know about feng shui from my Animal Crossing game…

Remember to have something red in the east corner of your room for helping you find things (like the loo in the dark)

And something ‘gold’…ish… (ahem…like me!) or yellow (if you can’t afford ME) in the west corner to attract wealth….oozing optional

Be careful…improper placement (or lack of something green in the south end of your room…hint-hint, slave!) will result in this negative chi….

That is indeed very negative chi. I would be running for the veggies!

@ RP, did you do those elements on photoshop? The look good!  Could pass as Christmas ornaments.

                                        JG, thanks for noticing.
Yes, Photoshop. I googled elements and looked under Images, and found these. They were tiffs I think. Anyway, saved them and cropped individually, then selected Herself’s puss from different pix and cropped/overlaid. Reduced opacity to about 25%.

                                        Ornaments – good idea.

speaking of Photoshop, Jersey, I am noticing that all my pix from my camera lately are huge and grainy, then when I reduce them in Paint, they are small and grainy. I had it on auto setting, but not sure why it’s saving them to such huge sizes. It’s a Powershot by Canon, and I haven’t mastered it in a year.

RP you got one of those cannon camera’s too?

Yeah when I gtried to take pics of the ring I got it wouldn’t come out right.

OH I ordered another ring this one will be in soon it is gorgeous.

                                          Bun Shui   love it.

Ok Cotton has his reddish brown loo in the right corner.    Ruby has hers lavender in the right corner too.   I got a red blankie to cover the back of her cage due to being cold here.

I put towels on the window sills and it really helps a lot in keeping the drafts out.

Mimz I love your hippy bunny.   She is so cool.  I had an older girl that looked a lot like her.  She was old and passed some years ago.

What I do know about Fing Shui  is not to put clutter under desks beds n chairs n such.   I hate clutter and hubby is a clutter bug.

In that case, I have bad chi going on! Very un-feng shui.

RP, it’s odd the quality falters when you down size pics, usually that can happen when enlarging. I have noticed occasionally when I save on Paint I get that result too. Maybe it’s something to do with the format? Are the pics from camera saved as jpeg?
Do you set the size on the camera itself or on the pc software?

I’m looking at sony cybershot. Actually was reading a bit more just today. I’ve been without camera since early July and there’s some good sales this time of year. This has video too so I’m hoping it will be a good purchase.

North facing windows take advantage of the light in the southern hemisphere.  Here’s an older pic of Jersey taking advantage of a north facing window. Could this be feng shui?

What about adding something abundant at a threshold? (see below) Good or bad? If this chokes my chi, how could I improve it?

um if bunny has his own room would I do feng shui in his condo AND in his room? I think doing this would be so cute lol and I think it would be funny to tell people my bunny practices bun shui… lol I need to decorate his room anyway! What about windows, doors, and closets? What if they get in the way? What about multiple levels of the condo? *giggle*

Jersey, I think the direction you are facing in that last shot is inauspicious, especially if you let the air out.

Yes, feng shui can be done first for the whole condo, and then again within the bunny’s room.

and lastly, when placing furniture consider that ottomans near couches make for fabulous tunnel-like routes for bunny 500’s and stealing remotes:

It has to do with paint. When paint resizes the image it’s lossy, and when photoshop does it it’s lossless; meaning that the information in the image is not preserved when you shrink the image. I hate using paint but I don’t have photoshop installed on this computer. >.< you can tell this happened to me too with my signature as the grass was originally a high res image which became pixelated when sized down.

Interesting to know about Paint. I have made a wonderful discovery on my new Windows 7: it came with a thing called Windows Live Photo Gallery, and there’s a Resize capability in Edit!!! Wheeeee! I tried it this week, and it’s looking good. So now I am trying to get it to be the default just so I’ll get used to using it. I think it may be a free download from the Microsoft website if you want to try it. Not sure it’s limited to 7, so check it out.

BTW, I was trying to find the right post to mention that I love your siggy, cactuspancake.

I thought she was referring to Baby’s hock…then I notice that Outstanding poop. lol

That cuddle puddle, I think that might be Giuly’s Sophie but I don’t recall so many dark coloured kits.

Jersey, I think the direction you are facing in that last shot is inauspicious, especially if you let the air out.

I believe I should have been concentrating on the rabbits bun shui anyway. I just didn’t have any recent pics to post.
Unless Bun Shhui could be interpreted of how to best postion the bunnies? Rather then things in their habitat. Nooo!
