  When it gets dark, I’m sat at the kitchen table and need to turn the kitchen light on to see I go through to the living room to close the curtains (because of the way my house is built, if I turn on the kitchen light without doing this everyone in the street can see me). We’re really short of money, so if we’re not in a room – we switch the light off! So how come, I asked myself this evening, do I always switch the living room light on for the rabbits at this point?

  turn everyday items into bunny toys i’m boring, lol! i literally will take boxes from work, tear off the tape and stickers and cut holes with my cutter
  
  i always bring down my blanket and lay with chacha in the living room during the evenings. she enjoys playing in my blanket.
  
  if i am with a friend, they need to take me home by 9 pm. REALLY LOL! its the time i prepare chacha’s veggies!
  
  i am willing to go anywhere nearby to find the ultimate perfect orchard grass for her.. since she is picky. i make sacrifices for her, and learn stuff that i’ve never known in my life! it makes me feel like a better person

  i lay on the floor rug in her bedroom – usually it’s hairy and hay dusted because i sweep daily but only vacuum once a week in there – until she comes to me for pets. some times this takes more than 30 mins. lol. bogart is really perplexed by this ritual but usually joins me. which is a good thing. she’ll often come over sooner when he’s there too. lil brat!
  
  but i still do it because once she does come over we have a nice long cuddle puddle. she will even groom me and then i feel like the luckiest bunnymum ever

  i like when bunnies give kissses. I WONDER if they are because ‘i love you’ or ‘i wnat you to smell like me!’ or ‘you are mine! you are now a lagomorph!’

  I dont’ like being out late either since nite is cottons time for pettings. I dont’ dare tell hubby cuz he gets upset.
  
  Plus when we go out I can’t leave them a light on or music. Hubby gets upset.   HE also tries to turn off the a/c a couple of times so I call the neighbor to turn it back on for them lol.    Yes every year when summer comes and it starts getting hot I have to go thru this with him . It gets to the point where i won’t leave the house til he leaves the a/c on for them. Then he stops trying to shut it off after that til next year then we got to go thru this again.
  
  Being it is in the 30’s in florida and 28 tonite or last nite I cover Rubys cage with my pink fuzzy blanky and a red thick flannel blanky on top of her regular blanky.
  
  Cotton gets lots of towels on his cage to keep his little fuzzy butt warm.   I turn on the heater b4 I go to bed to warm the room up for them. Once warm I shut it off.
  
  We use a space heater in the bedroom.
  
  If I dont’ have greens for them I get hibiscus or grasses.
