Are he and Pacey offically bonded now? Would Pacey do ok to be penned up with him?

Smudge wasn’t litter trained when I brought her home, so when she went in for her spay, I shrunk her pen waaaay down, so I could just fit 2 full size litter boxes in it. So, she had to get used to going in the litter box no matter what. After a couple days, I enlarged it a tiny bit so she could hop around hte boxes. Each day I enlarged it a tiny bit more, til one day it was a full size pen, with 2 litter boxes. Then I took a box out, and she is a good bun now with her potty habits

I’ve thought to do something like that with Jersey but never thought to make it all litterbox at beginning. I’ve limited space but it’s still been generous, like 3×2 metres. It’s hard to know what to do when they’re in a pair. Most times I suggest to others not to separate. Just when you’re talking that small an area (2 litterbox size) with 2 rabbits?…   Maybe could try 4 litterbox size with 2 rabbits?

4 could work yeah. I know it seems mean to keep them in that small of a space, but it worked for Smudge, and she has all the room she wants now Had she not gotten trained, she wouldn’t be allowed to run around.

Seems like your bunny enjoys the munch&poo…maybe you could try moving the hay to a point accessible from the litterbox?

My new bunny will pee in its litter box and poop in it sometimes, but then the rest of the time I go out to find rabbit “presents” all over the place! She is new at the whole litter thing so I hope it will get better, I sweep the “presents” up and put them in the litter box to try to give her the idea.
