Does anyone have any ‘unusual’ litterbox training secrets?
I think I gave Walter too much space too fast because he went from using the litterbox 99% of the time to 0% of the time. I mean his box was squeaky clean and my room, the bunny room and part of the hallway was almost black with bunny presents. And my bed was soaked with pee.
So I set his pen back up and put his litterbox in there with some hay in it. He has a bare cage basically litterbox, hay, food bowl, water bowl / bottle and a hide box. He will now pee in the box but no poops ever. He will literally grab a mouth full of hay sit in the middle of the pen eat it and poop. When I catch him I herd him to the box where sometimes he will finish and other times he will just give me the stink eye.
I feel bad because he gets excited when he sees Pacey but then just looks dejected when he realizes he can’t get out.
So far everything I have tried isn’t working.
Any suggestions?
Note: Already had the vet check him out just in case it was medical and it isn’t he is a healthy stubborn boy.
