  Neigey will go first because he is the quintessential snow bunny but he does get cold fast so I only ever get a couple of pictures….
  
  I just love white-coated animals!
  
  Lint is missing but soon I will get one of him! He needs much sun on him to shine!

  Don’t remember – probably a while ago. I save the pics that I like onto my computer and as my screensaver, each of my pics pop up one by one – I love it!

  Okay here are some of ours – it’s been a while since we’ve had them out in the snow, maybe we’ll do that again this year. And yes, those are harnesses and leashes on them, it’s the only way I’ll let them run around outside if they’re not in an Xpen.

  How much snow did you get out there so far, Petzy? We had a bit but it all melted yesterday and it’s supposed to be like plus 6 all week. Not very Christmasy weather

  Brittany – we got her from the shelter so we don’t really know what she is, but the best guess is a husky/samoyed mix.
  
  Although the Winnipeg Humane Society has dog DNA kits and I’m really tempted to get one and find out for sure what she is!

  LPT, this year we have not had as much snow yet, and it has been much warmer. But the humidity is crazy! Sitting at 100% today! It feels Maritimish, it’s all wrong: here, it’s supposed to be dry and way cold. The white stuff that we got last week was wet and heavy which is not typical for here.

  Love the snow pictures! We did get snow last year and it was beautiful but none of my rabbits wanted to venture out – heck I sure didn’t either….brrrrr, it was too cold for me.

  Yeah, real snow which is why everything closed down for those days it snowed. We can’t operate or drive or do anything in that kind of weather. Our horses refuse to leave the barn when there’s snow on the ground LOL so we are stranded at home.

  yes i remember that sarita! you certainly have to be prepared for snow to enjoy it. the right clothing and footwear makes a world of difference. and knowing how to drive in the snow is a whole other kind of skill.
  
  awww petzy cute snow nose pic snow bath… yup… thats about right!
  
  last winter my sister’s dog visited my folks place. they have a lot of wild bunnies in their area and the whole backyard was speckled with bunny berries. until the dog got out there that is! she snorfed every single one. shhhh don’t tell bogart his cuz got all of them.

  No snow plows in my area maybe up in the panhandle though since they get lost of snow. We just get the crappy salt on the roads that makes it even harder to drive on when the snow melts. I don’t even think they sell snow shovels here in Dallas. We got lots of fans and sunscreen for sale though.
  
  BBM – I definitely don’t have the proper gear for snow to enjoy it. Heck even my house was too dang cold – it’s not made for cold weather either.
  
  Poor Bogart didn’t get his bunny berries…love Bogart so I won’t tell him.

  How deep is the snow where you live Petzy and BBM? It looks like Petzy’s like it’s a few feet based on Petzy’s Puma photo.

  Puma’s photo is not from this year. This is what we have had in the past years but this year, after such a rainy summer, we have had much less percipitation. It may still hit us though, we get snow all the way to May.

  A little sun he likes but I need a lot of sun to really show off his pretty coat. He’s so dark, you know. But this is one of my favorite photos of him in the snow. It is from his BB album.

  Oh, I just realized how bad that looks on me! I did not hit him with the snow shovel! I think it happened because he was running around and I tossed a bunch of snow a little bit into his… direction…. accidentally. (now Rabbitpam will call the authorities on me to save my rabbits from this northern abuse)

  I think Dakota looks like a collie husky mix she has that slight curve to her ear almost like the tips would flop over like the collies kinda do. She is STUNNING!

  Lint is like that, Brittany, disapproving most of the time but very laid-back now. He used to a little canon ball but either maturing or bonding has changed him.

  It has been pretty warm for here. About 10 degrees F which of course is nasty cold when you are an indoor bunny. But there was no wind, and lots of sun, it was dry, so I let them hop. Once they stopped moving about, they had to come in. I was not wearing gloves and when my hands started to get cold I gathered them up. It was a short fun time.

  For a few photos your main concern will be that it is dry. Never place a rabbit into wet snow.

  Did you know that hay doesn’t really freeze? Because of the low water content it stays soft and chewy.
