  Went to the Dr again.    Was told yes this cough does linger.   Gave me more antibiotics and inhalers.
  
  I am so tired of this.    What I hate most is I cough so hard when the cough med wears off that well…… as a woman who has had a son I think you ladies know what I mean.    Dang. I get so aggravated about that.
  
  A normal cough doesn’t cause this accident to happen.   But this is not normal and is too much.
  
  It is not the wall in the bathroom that had the leak.   It doesn’t smell no more and we shut the door and have an air purifier that works real good. It is big big and takes 30 minutes to clean the air in this little apartment.
  
  Other people have gotten this and with it comes a little nausea.   Now I know every year I get like this and it usually turns into bronchitis except for the last 3 years as I go early to the DR. b4 it gets to bronchitis and I normally get a flu shot. So that also seems to have made a difference in the last couple of years
  
  However I didnt’ get one cuz my knee surgery didn’t want to over tax my body and now been sick so I can’t get one.
  
  Is this ever going to go away.

  Hey BT do you ever drink herbal teas? There’s an excellent one for colds made by Traditional Medicinals that you should be able to find in your grocery store. It’s called Cold Care P.M. My hub just got through a bout of pneumonia and this really helped him breathe. Or if you know anyone who dries herbs that makes yarrow tea w/menthol. (this is what Cold Care used to be until they realized it worked too well I guess…then they took some of the yarrow flower out of it) It is a blood purifier and it clears your system out phenomenally. I used to drink it every time I felt a cold coming on when I first got here and it would clear it up in 24 hours. Now something well established is going to take longer, but the Cold Care should help. I think they have one for coughs too. And of course be sure to tell your doc about it so he or she can be sure you don’t have any cross-reactions.

  Yes herbal teas.    There is a place down the street who has the actual dried herbs in big jars.   I got some feverfew from her and it works well.
  
  Yarrow flower.    I bet she has some.   I can go tuesday and ask her for some stuff. She is closed mondays
  
  I have feverfew chamomile and licorice that I put together. I got some green tea with chamomile at the club house the other day they were giving it away.
  
  Put a little honey n yes.    Glad you mentioned the yarrow.   I didn’t know about that.
  
  echinicea doesn’t really do well for me.
  
  I have been boiling a pot of water and inhaling the steam plus a nice hot shower as well for steam inhilation. It has helped

  I hope you feel better soon! I’ve been battling a sinus infection. It’s not any fun. What I HATE about it is that the congestion drainage will cause a tickle in my throat and I’ll start coughing and coughing and coughing. I hate it. lol I do the nasal irrigation and that helps with my sinuses a lot.
  
  Do you buns get scared when you cough? Eddie completely freaked out the first time I sneezed and coughed. We’re talking thumping with darting off to safety freaked out! LOL

  rofl   I can picture them running n thumping at you.        Cotton got a bit scared the other nite when I started yelling n using bad words cuz I kept coughing. Yes it starts with that darn tickle.
  
  I think I scalded my throat inhaling boiling steam water. I am feeling better today. Finally.    I had some good hot tea last nite b4 bed. The stuff that makes me sleep Chamomile.
  
  Not real hungry people saying oh you lost some weight?     Good cuz I need to.
  
  OH my son taking us to the beach yesterday helped. Breathing that salt air.   Plus a friend told me she had this cough for 2 MONTHS b4 it went away.    Ugh.
  
  Mucinex is actually starting to work . It didn’t work b4 but since I am running out of otc cough stuff I took it yesterday and today. The things to suck on kind of help too.
  
  Gosh hope you dont’ get stuck with this.   Allergies don’t help

  BT, if you get yarrow flowers you can share them with the bunnies. Bet they’ll snub them though.
  
  It’s a worry, this cough. What did happen with the water and mold saga? Did they come fix it right?
  
  I hope you’re not becoming allergic to the bunnies or the hay.

  Yes the wall is all patched up painted etc. The leak is over.
  
  I am feeling better and not coughing so bad. Around 4 pm it got too humid and my allergies started getting annoying so I shut the windows got the a/c going.
  
  OTC meds actually work now.
  
  Doubt it is the hay mostly tree n grass pollens right now
