We no only have Rhine as a foster bunny.  The shelter thought it was best for Rhine and it was best for our family.  So, I cleaned all the furniture in my room, vacuumed and even srpayed a light amount of vinegar on the carpet.

I’m actually glad the foster bunnies went back.  Rhine figured out how to get up my stairs today!  He managed to twist himself a certain way and he doesn’t even touch the vinyl.  Silly boy.  That could have been a bad situation.

Anyway, Rhine was in my bedroom which I have no problem with.  The problem is he feels the need to poop all over my floor!  I know this is a territorial thing due to the smell of the other buns.  So, I brought up his litterbox and water bowl, his boxes, sheet and rug so it would smell more like him.  I am following him around with a dustpan and broom…lol..but he continues to do it.  He has not done this in any other areas of the house.  He has been on the stairs all day with no problem.  It’s only in my room where the other buns were.

Is there anything else I should do?  Something I haven’t thought of?  Is this just going to take a little time to pass?

        Thanks for your help.

Once he is satisfied he should stop. Just wants to clear the air of the scent of the other buns i believe. Monkey did that when Moose was first brought home, and again with smudge, but she is fine now

How long did it last? I can’t leave my door open because I’ll come up to a huge mess.

it depends on the bunny really. some bunnies keep it up for weeks or months, some for days or hours

Maybe don’t let him there for the time being. Any scent he picks up on should dissipate in time.
