I can’t believe I haven’t posted these before now!
At the beginning of October I took in 4 foster kittens – Grady, Oscar, Taylor and Ginny. They were very small for their age, and only about 60% of the weight they should have been. In fact 2 from their litter didn’t make it, and another was being taken care of by the shelter vet. They were 9 weeks old when I got them on October 1. I managed to get 3 of mine up to weight by the end of the month, at which point they went in for their speutering and adoption (leaving my little Taylor behind) and I took home the little guy that the vet had been caring for (Mouse). Mouse and Taylor are about 3 1/2 – 4 month old now, but only about the size they should have been at 9 weeks.
And since I’ve been very negligent in not posting pictures of them until now, here’s a whole slew of them!

You didn’t!! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!! OMG So cute!!! Thank you for sharing!!! Are you fostering for the Winnipeg HS?
Yep! It’s a bit of a pain because they’re clear on the other side of town but so totally worth it. This is the third batch of foster kittens I’ve had. Now that I’m down to just the 2 of them they’ve been having a lot of freedom in the house and have been spending a lot of time cuddling with me
I’m just so totally in love with Taylor! He’s such a sweetie!
– Annette
They are cute!
I’d be hard pressed to let those cuties leave my home!
They are all adorable!![]()

hope taylor made it outta there before it got too hot ![]()
oooo, they’re adorable!
Are you keeping Taylor? Hmmmm???? Please????
OMG! So adorable! I love cats that snuggle together! I have 4 cats but they never snuggle, they sort of just ignore each other. I like the pic of little teeny kitty bum between the two big bums, so cute.
I actually have a kitten related dilemma maybe you could give me some advice on. I have a kitten living in my barn. He’s been there for weeks according to my neighbor but I didn’t know because he goes through the hole in the side of the barn into my neighbors yard. He won’t let anyone near him but I’ve been leaving food in there everyday and there is a blanket he can sleep on. I’m not sure what to do because I can’t take him in and winter is coming. My cats are not vaccinated as they are all indoor cats and I’m scared to bring in a stray. Also my biggest cat is very aggressive to newcomers and would torment the kitten, especially if he is already afraid. I’ve checked the local ads; no one reported a kitten missing. Winter is coming and the SPCA is full and our local cat rescue has no foster homes available. It’s breaking my heart that he is out there and I don’t know what I should do. I might talk to my vet about it when I take Bindi back next week.
Scooter here. Sorry, but the rule of fostering we have is that nothing fostered stays here permanently. Otherwise we’d be overrun with critters.

You did good with them. Getting them up to weight. Wish I could foster bunnies. I woudl love it.
haha! I liked seeing Mouse’s paw coming out searching for the cheese pillow thingy. Those 2 are very entertaining!
Well they’re at the shelter clinic right now for their neutering, I’ll actually be picking them up later and bringing them back for a week of recovery time. In addition to the surgery they’re also getting a whole slew of shots today so they’ll be a little out of sorts for a few days.
– Annette
Ohhhhhhhhh my gosh SQUEEE!! Those videos are adorable!!
The kittens are making up for being subdued after their surgeries!
