Ok literally after I wrote that last post about pooping on me I was going to put him in his room because he’s on a mission today to just lay those onion smelly turds on everything. He jumped up, flicked his ears when I went for a pet, jumped on my arm I had bent laying on the pillow, and right when he did that I was like “uh I don’t want you up here…” and I go to move him but he started peeing all over my arm and I took him and put him in his cage with pee dripping off my arm.

I think he needs to stay in his cage for awhile, this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

How can I let my bunny know that I’M the one in charge and not him?? I can’t get him neutered yet but I’m definitely holding my breath.

Unfortunately, this is just a “deal with it and wait” situation. You might want to limit his exercise space to an area that is easier to clean up.

I don’t think it’s that serious. You just need to realize he’s a young rabbit and this is how young rabbits can be.

There isn’t really a way to discipline a rabbit and let him know you are in charge. What you can try to do is to let him out for awhile and then sit him in his box so that he can pee – maybe then he can get the idea, this is where you urinate. The same with on the couch.

Serious for me because I don’t like bunny thinking it’s ok to flick poops on me and mark me! I know it’s because of his bunny hormones I just wanted to know how to deal with it. I guess I’m going to keep him in his cage for a day because he stopped going in his cage altogether… he holds it till the morning and then goes in the kitchen litterbox which is the only one he uses now. He hasn’t left a poop in his cage for probably four days now. He’s pooping fine though… bout 2 cups a day haha. I respect his cage… I never clean it or reach in it when he is there; I started that on day one. I’ve only put him in his cage twice. Should I just let him out maybe twice a day for a few days just in his bunny room? Maybe that will get him to start going in his cage again?

Get him neutered. Keep his play area small, don’t let him have the full run of the place.

Just remember, he thinks he’s paying you a big compliment by marking you.

I just peeked again at your condo pictures. Is it the condo or cage he is not toileting in now? With the condo, the litter box has high sides and has something over head. Maybe that’s deterring him a bit? If the kitchen litterbox is different, you could try that in his condo or cage.

So he stopped peeing/ pooping in his old cage. I guess right after I took out the cardboard flooring and his bunny bed so it wouldn’t harbor spores… That might have a lot to do with it. I think he likes his cage though he hangs out up top and doesn’t beg to be let out. That litterbox has a lip on it on the side… But I think I will switch to the big corner litterbox I have and “prepare” it with some poops/ pee napkin/ hay.
