Weirdest thing happened last night – well, weird to me, maybe it’s normal?

I was petting and combing Merry.  She went into her little happy snoozy place and was blissfully snoring away.  At one point I detected a bit of an icky scent – but it quickly dissipated so I didn’t give it a second thought.  Finally, after combing out what seemed like a grapefruit sized pile of fur, she woke up, looked around, and scampered off.  And there, on the ground, under where her little booty was… was a solitary poop.

Is this totally bizarre, or totally normal?  I thought that maybe it was just something stuck there, but with that little whiff of smelliness I got , I wonder…

I think it’s normal. When I’ve snuggled with Lolli on the couch, sometimes when I get up there’s a poop. Eddie would do the same. I don’t know why they do it. Like if it’s a territorial thing or not. But I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about.

rofl  normal.     I am laughing because your post reminded me of Laith.    B4 he got neutered well he had those dangly type testicles.  He was lying in his cage  and I happened to look over and he had a poop sitting on his testicles

One of my buns used to leave poop on me           he hasn’t done this is a long time now

Hehe, is your bunny spayed or neutered?

I can’t say about girls, but with boy rabbits, their poop tends to be really smelly when they become hormonal. All I dealt with was spraying from my female. Her litter habits are all good now after her spay. Occasionally I will see a poop out of the box.
