I will be having surgery Dec 3rd and will be in the hospital at least one night and then at least one night with my mom.  I have never left Lollipop overnight since Eddie’s passed away.  She has never been an only bun till now either.   And as I start processing the surgery, I am now freaking out about leaving Lolli alone.  i have been home with her since before Eddie died as well.

I am going to be gone a lot this weekend.  Not overnight, but most of the days and nights as my brother is flying in tomorrow from Miami for my grandma’s birthday party on saturday.  It’s her 80th so it’s going to be a big shindig.  lol  So Lolli will be alone a lot this weekend and I guess it’s going to be the test really.

Now, Lolli’s very independent so how would I tell if she’s lonely or mad cause I’ve been gone?  Eddie was easy cause he’d get mad and not want anything to do with me for however long he decided and then want snuggles and kisses again.  lol  Lolli is so independent and not affectionate like Eddie was so I don’t know how to read her sometimes.

Ok….don’t get mad, but I wish she was a dog cause then I could take her with me and wouldn’t have to worry so much about her!  LOL  (No, I love my little sweetheart bun to bits and pieces as I always tell her! )

I think I just found out. She doesn’t really show anything in her behavior per se. But I was gone all day today and I picked her up tonite to snuggle. I was thinking I’d be lucky if she snuggled for 5 minutes. Well…..I was wrong. She snuggled for almost an HOUR! She has NEVER EVER EVER done that. Grant it, I picked her up while she was trying to sleep and I think she kept falling asleep, but as long as I kept petting her, she was perfectly content. So maybe that’s how I know she misses me? lol

I just don’t want her to be lonely.

It seems like our bunnies are warming up to us. Chacha decided to plop her big butt on my chest and let me pet her. It has never happened before.

yeah last night Franz sat next to me on the couch for the first time and snuggled. He’s never been on the couch before!

I have to wait until she goes under her box and sleeps, then put the pen up to trap her and pick her up that way cause it’s just easiest than trying to chase her all over the living room. And…she’s not falling for it tonite. LOL I was gone even longer today and she’s under a chair. haha But she has done some binkies since I got home, so I’ll take that! Just some sign she likes having me around! lol

I was eating cinnamon toast crunch plain last night and I used to give her some. But have stopped. She begs like crazy but I still don’t give her any. So last night, she jumped up on the couch which she rarely does. As soon as I try to pet her, she’s gone though. lol

It’s so sweet when they start doing things they’ve never done before.
