Ollie was in the middle of eating his dinner tonight when all of a sudden he skitzed out like something had startled him and ran under the couch. It took us almost 5 whole minutes to coax him out. Now he won’t finish his dinner and he is still acting frightened. He’s currently squished between the door and a large cardboard box with his eyes bugging out. Should I be concerned?

I’d keep an eye on him. But really all you can do is just let him be. I have tried so many times to comfort Lolli when she gets spooked, but that just spooks her more.

Does he ever do that a bit when Dorie comes by? Even when bonded they can startle one another sometimes.

Mine get spooked by ME walking into the room – like I do a billion times a day. Its almost as if they forget I am here and all of a sudden on ebolts, with the other bolting because the first one bolted.

They wander back out when they realize there is nothing trying to eat them.
