Ok so we finally decided on names for out new little friends. I wanted to call them Rock & Roll but the wife wasnt into it and named her little girl Shadow. So I named mine Ninja after seeing him do what looked like a backflip attempt lol.

Anywho I seperated them today cause Ninjas um,…. boys, droped and they cant be fixed for a month or two so thats that. Im sure its nothing but the most recent thing is Ninja came up to the side of the second story of his cage where my computer is and got my attention, (just wanted a treat) but I went over and got nose to nose with him and his one eye looks a little weapy…….. nothing real bad looking but his other eye is perfect and it looks like the one is a little irritated. Do i need to do anything? Should I be concerned? ………

Im super paranoid after the horrible ordeal I went through with Dax…… and im sure im gonna freak out over every little thing with Ninja till I have him for a few months and can assure myself that hes gonna live a long an healthy life.

I am always super paranoid about my bunnies’ eyes. Monkey ahs had ulcers in each eye, and they cannot heal on their own. So whenever a bun has weepy eyes, I suggest a vet visit.

Well i know this is an bad answer but litterally these bunnies fell into my lap and im just doing my best to take care of them. Luckily I had tons of stuff from my buddy I had for years.

It seemed like it may just be a scratch but I called my exotic vet bud who lives a few hours away and he suggested artifical tears and a warm compress and after just 2 treatments (about 14 hours appart) his eye looks great, so im guess its just a scratch.

I recently lost my job and should be back to work pretty soon, I promise taking them for a check up is very high on my priority list, but right now im having trouble buying food lol. (i have tons of hay though lol, bought a bunch for my bunny that i got who came to me sick))

Anyway he seems to be doing much much better but im keeping an eye on it. They will be going very soon though.

If you have a vet bud that you can consult over the phone for free, that’s going to help a lot. It’s very hard to job hunt and meet expenses, and many shelters are full now from folks who couldn’t afford care of their pets.

I am wishing you a speedy search and the best job ever, and good health for Ninja.
