It sounds like a goose pretty much!

yep.just like a goose.or a pig but very subtle.my bunny honks at us all the time

lol I had to look that up, Peepers does that all the time, it gets really loud when I carry her anywhere..although maybe it just seems louder because she’s closer to my ears… lol

 What are your bunnies saying when they honk?  Nibbles seems to honk when she sees the treats coming out, or if she’s upset with something.  Maddie seems to honk when I reach out to her slowly, but then she lowers her head for nose rubs.

Both bunnies honk at the cat a lot!  The cat just looks at them as if to say “you’re kidding, right??”

Olivia always honks if I go in near her stuff or she doesn’t want to be bothered or picked up. She honks and hits me. At first I was like “what the heck is that noise?” She’s trying to be mean but it’s actually quite hilarious! She has earned the nickname “Honker”.

I think Lolli honks a little bit when I pick her up. It’s really soft so until I went on youtube and watched videos of other rabbits honking, I didn’t know what that tiny sound was. lol

Skittles used to do that alot….only we called it oinking. Oliver has only done it once. But it seemed to be more of a leave me alone warning.
