  This is getting silly now, since I moved LJ into Dylan’s room (still separated) he’s been getting really agressive. He got a little better after a few week, but I’ve just been to feed him and he gave me a couple of nasty nips
  
  The last time he was at the vets, he said he had a broken tooth, but it was nothing to worry about… It sems that it is if only for the sake of my ankles! There is definately one tooth in the marks left on my arm that has drawn blood so when we go back for LJ’s next jab on wednesday Dylan will be coming too for a file down.
  
  I’ve tried pushing his head down to show dominance, it is definately food related as he usually does it when I give him dinner. I have to hold his head down when I pick up his food bowl or he will literally bite the hand that’s feeding him. Anyone with experience of this, is it likely to get better when the boys are bonded? Is there anything else I can do or is avoidance the only option (stop him from biting me, as opposed to hoping he’ll ever stop on his own)?
  
  I don’t mind so much, but my fiancee is scared to go in the bunny room in case Dylan strikes. Help!

  How old are they?   Are they neutered n spayed? If not that can be the cause of this behavior. Sounds like he is very territorial
  
  IN the meantime perhaps you can put thick heavy socks on and shoes or boots up to the ankles?   I know thats a bit much to ask. I can see it now at the shoestore trying to get inexpensive shoes up to the ankles cuz your rabbit attacks you.   Wonder what the sales person would say to that   lol.   Just joking   Wonder if rubber boots would work tho.
  
  OH or put gloves on your hands?    throwing a towel over him and holding him there til he is fed?
  
  They can nip hard and draw blood.   Not pleasant.
  
  Hubby was so upset cuz Cotton when he would smell a male rabbit on me would attack viciously and draw blood. Leaping up to my face to do this and all over my hands.    A bit disturbing needless to say.
  
  I dont’ handle male bunnies and if I do which is rare I change my clothes and wash my hands good 2x. Y’all are probably hearing about this by now.

  Both are neutered, Dyaln for over a year now, LJ about 6 weeks ago. I do usually wear jeans to go in to feed him, and always feed Dylan first. It does save my ankles!
  
  Tonight I got complacent and went in in my socks and dressing gown… Today was unusual too, as I spent more time in there during the day as it’s the weekend and I was doing some work at the desk in there. I tend to forget just how ruffled they get by a change in routine.

  Ahh they are both males.    L.J. still has hormones going on til about 8 weeks.   The aggression may die down then on Dylan’s part.
  
  Hopefully.   Have you tried a squirt bottle.   That may help   or making a high pitched eeeek noise. Thats what buns do when they get hurt sometimes or scared.   Dylan may figure out he is hurting you and stop.
  
  Pressing his head down may help. In some bunnies it makes them worse it just depends on the bunny.
  
  Perhaps Dylan is still adjusting to LJ being in the same room as he is.   Is he and L.J marking?
  
  Do you feed Dylan first? That might help.   RAbbits can be so persnickety

  I agree with BT’s suggestion of wearing gloves. The kind you work on cars or gardening with – sort of tough. It will be temporary hopefully.
  
  I didn’t wear shorts for 8 years due to Spockie’s love of my calves. I have jeans with holes in the same places, too….
