I think I am ready to get another bunny.  I still miss Eddie and always will.  I would like a snuggle bunny but think I am truly ok if the bunny I choose isn’t.   I think my biological clock is ticking loudly so I want something to cuddle and coo over.  Also Eddie was my way of comforting myself and I just need to find different ways to do that or find some way to heal my emotional problems. haha!

I am still on medical leave for my spine.  I found out that the symptoms are being caused by the spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal column).  However the bony growth or whatever is happening to cause the narrowing isn’t big.  It’s actually apparently minimal.  According to the MRI, the stenosis isn’t bad enough to be causing my symptoms so the surgeon can’t explain that.   But he also said it’s kind of all relative.  He said he could go in and try to clean the area out.  But he would also rather me exhaust all other options before doing so.  My mom really doesn’t want me having another surgery, so she is going to pay for me to see a chiropractor.  I will be doing that for a couple of weeks and see what happens.  I will schedule surgery if the chiropractor doesn’t help at all.

So……depending on what happens by the end of the month, I may be getting lolli a friend.  Sorry for the long explanation.  I had to give the backstory on it all.  lol    I will adopting from the Illinois House Rabbit Society chapter in the chicago area.  I will not be taking Lolli cause it’s a 3 hour trip and I’m sure she’d be fine, I still don’t want to put her thru a 6 hour round trip car ride.   I’ve been in contact with someone there and she has recommended a couple of rabbits.   And………….here they are!  LOL

So if they are still available I might be coming home with one of these boys.  Or a totally different boy.   They don’t adopt out females into a home where there’s already a female bun due to bonding being so hard with  females.  If after 2 months or so, if the new bunny and Lolli aren’t getting along at all and there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight, they will take the bunny back and try to match us up with a new one.

Just wanted to share as I’m sitting at home and bored.  LOL

Ooohhh what cuties! moose says the dutch is best, but he may be biased. The jersey wooly/angora bot is adorable! But he’d also be alot more work. Good luck picking one! And hope your back gets better!

Awwww, I love the little Dutch. The Wooly mix is cute, too, but you’ve gotta have the time to deal with all that hair! I specifically wanted a short-haired friend for Oliver for that reason, lol. We ended up with a Rex who sheds like crazy anyway. Go figure. Let us know how meeting them goes!

They are both lovely, and I *really* do want you to be happy with another rabbit.

I hope it works out, but I do think you need to think about what happens if they don’t get on – could you take the new bunny back to the shelter?

And I’m saying this because I like you – honest!
