The local community college called after my interview and said I am the only candidate they are proceeding with for Math & Science Department Secretary. I have to take a comupter skills test tomorrow, and that should be the last hurdle. Yay! Two years of lay-off might be over! My kids are already presenting their wishlists (cell phones with unlimited texting), while Malachi would prefer I continue staying home and spending all day answering his thump summons. *THUMP* I’ve finished shredding the paper bag; bring a new one. *THUMP* My water is room-temperature again. *THUMP*  Put the step stool in front of my door so I don’t have to jump down the whole 6 inches.
