This more MY behavior rather than Lolli’s.  I have a cheap baby gate blocking the doorway to my hallyway.  Lolli has now started chewing on it.  She is not eating the pieces or anything.  And she has plenty of other things to chew on.  I discovered last night that she has been doing this.  I have been letting Lolli be free 24/7 and she does have a pen. (crucial to the story )

Last night, I’m getting ready for bed and am trying to find a way to keep her from chewing on the gate.  I sprayed with some oil stuff.  Then I’m trying to think of things I can use to block her from the gate.  Then it dawns on me – just put the stinker BACK IN THE PEN.

I am so used to spoiling her that I’m trying to bunny proof something that I’m using to bunny proof my bedroom when I can just put her in the pen.  Geesh.  I am not the only one who does this kind of stuff, right?  Please telly me I’m not.

No you aren’t.   ON saturday morning hubby used to help me clean.   then he would put Cotton in his cage to keep the house clean for the day.

NO WAY.  I insist that he stay out. lol

Yes I do silly things cuz of my bunnies.  I so let them have their way and hate to disturb that    lol

I know exactly how you feel! Baxter was a major distructo bunny before his neuter. I was constantly trying to bunny proof things but he always seemed to find a way around it or move on to something else that would get him into trouble. It got to the point to where I would have to keep him in his pen. I felt very guilty about it. It’s like, once you give them that freedom to explore a bigger world around them, they hate it when you put them back into the smaller space and they make you feel guilty about it. So no, you are not the only one who does this…we all do in some way lol

I have royally ticked off my cats with the bunny’s presence. Now that Bun-Bun discovered he loves cat food (I swear he spent the first 1.5 months here without even glancing at the bowls) I have to put their food bowls up on a windowsill when he’s out of the cage. The cats sit there staring at the spot where their bowls would be, all depressed. They’re not even hungry, they just want to know the food’s there! I feel bad that I’m stressing them out, but Bun-Bun makes a beeline for the cat food area when he leaves his cage now, just for the chance of finding some kibbles. AND the cats could easily jump up to the area where their bowls are, but they don’t. I’m going to construct a gate to block Bun-Bun from the kitchen sometimes… but when I cut up his veggies for him, I like having him there because it’s kind of funny how he puts on his starving act even though I know he’s been munching on hay all day. I’m trying to juggle a bunch of divas and it’s kind of annoying! LOL.

Yep I can agree, Arduina is spoiled rotten.. she does get sent to her room occasionally for a ‘time-out’ during play time. Leo on the other hand is a sweet angel (except for the digging in the carpets).
