So this has been an issue for awhile. I’ve mostly just give in and let him go under the bed. But he occasionally digs the carpet, you know, and other destructive things. I tell him to stop and, you know, the cycle continues. It’s getting to a point where I’m not sure of the status of the lair under there, and I live in an apartment. So I really have to do something. He lives in an x-pen and I let him out when I’m home and usually he wants to be social, but inevitably goes under the bed at some point.
So, I’ve tried two ways of keeping him out. I situated the pen so I could open it up and divide the room. That works fine, just gets a bit annoying to have to replace it all the time. And I always end up, when I’m trying to get over the pen, tripping, or in some way injuring myself. I also tried a less noticable method….I got plastic garden fencing and put it under the bed skirt. But he figured a way through it. Plus it was really hard for me to move it to get at stuff I need to store under there.
So….*sigh*. I picking all y’alls brains for some ideas!
