After the visit to the vet and having Basil cleaned up and checked out and him getting a clean bill of health I forgot to get his tooth the vet clipped so I could take a picture of it and show you guys how long it was!
here is his toofers he got trimmed! he only had one since unfortunatly before I got him he broke off his other front tooth I can see a little it of a tooth so I’m hoping it grows back but if not he can be toofyless on one side! lol
here is his tooth:

Yikes huh?
I have a question now I want his tooth to stay nice and short and not get over grown again but they have been so long and overgrown that he has been use to not chewing on things and Im paranoid that he wont chew to keep his teeth filed down and I hate for him to go through the trauma of getting his tooth trimmed again!
I have a yogurt drop treats that I rubbed on his cool cardboard chewy tube I got him that is covered with herbs and hay for him to chew so he would smell the yogurt on it and chew on the tube it kinda worked he chewed it some so now I stuff his fresh veggies in there so he has to chew on it to get his yummies! lol it seems to work I have a little willow basket Im going to put in there and put veggies in there to help promote chewing. would his eating timothy hay and pellets keep his teeth in check if he never does start picking up on the chewing habbit?
another pic just because he is so stinkin adorable!
