  A couple of months back before I moved into the apartment that i am currently living in, my next door neighbors faced a bit of a bug problem. Their solution was to use a fogger (bug bomb) to deal with the situation. As I moved in, i came to notice just how messy and unclean their unit was. Was pretty shameful with how indecent they kept that place. Needless to say, I did not have a pest problem until a few short months after I moved in to finally notice they moved into my place.
  
  First came roaches. Now bedbugs. Thankfully, it has only been those two. It has come to a point where I will have to use a fogger to properly deal with them without having to look into more extreem measures. I intend to use the fogger tomarrow morning. I plan to slip both my rabbits into their own carriers and take them with me for a few hours while the fogger is in-effect.
  
  Their food and hay and supplies shall be placed in an empty unit and covered so it isn’t contaminated in any way. What sort of preperations should i do to prepare for the whole thing?

  On a non-related topic. I am wondering. Since both my rabbits have bonded and the female has been spayed and she’s had a month and a half of healing time, would it be safe for them both to share a single pen now?

  I know nothing about the use of these pest products in relation to rabbits. So I’m bumping up this thread so those more knowledgable can address it.
  
  re: your pair, I would say enough time has passed to ensure Hazel has fully healed. It will just be a case of putting them together perhaps in a common living area & observing their interaction. Were they cohabiting fully before her spay? Be aware, females can get precious about their zone so even in the 6 weeks separation, she may have established a separate territory that Chip is no longer welcome to share. If this has happened, you will have to do some bonding. Then a deep clean of the pen area and set up the single pen once they’re over any issues.

  You should ask a veterinarian. It will depend on what type of fogger used, too.

  Hazel and Chip has never been seperated for anymore then a few hours at a time and that was only when i took Hazel in to be spayed. Their x-pens are side by side so they always have the oppertunity to take in each other’s scent. Hazel even gets groomed by Chip on a daily basis whenever she gets near him. Daily, i open the seperator that seperates both pens so that they can interact with each other up close.
  
  Never once did they fight with each other or nip, that i saw. Chip chaces Hazel and they both try to mount and hump each other’s faces but other then that, i saw nothing that would cause me to be concerned about them fighting.

  The way it will go is that i will move all rabbit items to another empty apartment including their food and stuff. They will both be in their own carriers and be taken with me for a few hours while the fogger comes into effect. About 3-4 hours afterward, i will air out the apartment and leave all the fans on and AC to properly air out my place. After about another hour, i will return and bring back my rabbits.
  
  The label on the box is: Hot Shot Bedbug & Flea Fogger.
