         I have not heard a grumbly bun tummy until just 5min ago. It sounded even louder than what my stomach does when it’s hungriest.  Right after some cecals came out and he ate them. He seems fine but I am worried. I JUST fed him and Baggy a large helping of cilantro and parsley. I have a 24 hour emergency vet 10 minutes away. What should be my cue to pack up and take him?

        5:30ish pm fed large amount of cilantro and parsley.

        7:15pm  …GRUMBLE , cecal, ate it.

        7:22pm slightly freaking out.

        7:28 took out pellets and changed out the litterbox and filled it up with hay. They are both eating it hay. Lion was the first one to hop in and start eating the hay.

          gah.

            I think as long as he’s eating, he should be fine. I used to hear Eddie’s tummy grumble every once in a while. I imagine if Lolli was a snuggler, I’d hear hers too. I do know that she’s farted twice. LOL I think all animals tummies can grumble. I used to hear my dog and my cat as well. It is a bit weird to hear especially when you’re not expecting it.

            Just make sure he continues to eat and try to watch for him pooping if you can. Also you can check to see if his stomach is distended or feels doughy as either are signs of stomach trouble. But he does sound like he’s fine since there’s not been an interruption in his wanting to eat.

              Well I don’t have work until 3:30 tomorrow so I will be watching him around the clock. I already made a pot of coffee.

              I *think* he’s fine, but I haven’t had a sick rabbit before and I just heard that loud noise….I was playing a computer game, my aquarium pump running, AND the new Linkin Park music on…and I heard the BLARGSDFHJDGHSJDGSDG come out from him.

              *sigh* Thanks for the reply bunbun, I haven’t heard a bun fart either! Just that famous fake one on youtube lol!

              As soon as I added the new hay Lion hoped right in, and everytime I check on him he’s sitting there eating more hay. I don’t know if you read my post earlier but I just got them off this yucky timothy bale i bought and got a new orchard grass bale and they LOVE it!

                As long as he is eating, and something comes out the other end, I wouldn’t be too worried. Keep an eye on him, but I wouldn’t rush off to the vet just yet

                      Never set your computer desk near a bunny cage when they’re napping. Especially dreaming about eating.

                        OMG Pam! xD *seriously ROFLing*

                        Mimzy seems to be doing this as well now. Or at least his hay is doing it to him. This 3rd cut timmy makes all their eliminations so dark and smelly…I used to enjoy my small space with my buns, but these days it’s getting a little…fragrant. 0_o;

                        Fiver’s tum really gurgles a lot too. And I’ve seen his insides at work through his pelt. Stuff actually goes forward AND back, up and down his tum, it’s the spookiest looking thing. You’d think that the Alien baby was running around in there!

                        First post was the 17th, so…I take it Lion is improved…or at least well. *imagines Lion trumping and pointing his ear at Baggy…’He did it’)

                          Lol!!!

                          Lion is doing better thank you. He wasn’t showing any signs of being ill…just that stomach rumble was scary! Sitting in the litterbox right now inhaling hay. I think I just overfed too many veggies and I mixed them? Usually I will feed just cilantro one day, just parsley another, I don’t know if that upset his tummy, I know I have given mixes before to the others.
