  is he not the cutest thing on the planet? lol his breeder didnt have time to drop him off yesterday on his way to the dog show, but he had all the bunnies that were going to their new homes with him, so my mom went out to the meet him at the show while I was at work this afternoon to go get him
  
  he is so tiny and so unbeleviably cute!
  
  he came with a 3 generation pedigree, he was born on June 10 2010 and weighs 2.8lbs

  The one’s I have seen had larger eye markings like Barbie’s Genie. He is very stunning and CUTE AS HECK!

  I lied about his weight lol not sure why his ped. said 2.8lbs unless it was just a default as most in his pedigree were 2.8, he’s not even 1lbs!

  it does look chocolate, we were looking at that ourselves last night, we kept looking at him wondering if it was just the light? lol I wanna say he’s black as there is only 1 chocolate in his pedigree and its 3 gen. back, but that liner definatly DOES look chocolate, and not black.

  Well, rabbit genetics can be quite funny and coloring can pop up out of nowhere
  
  He certainly does look like he has the brown ring instead of the black. All the more reason to love him

  He is adorable! Jeannie does have the wider markings around her eyes, but she doesn’t meet the breed standard. From what I read on dwarf hotots awhile ago, the eyeliner is supposed to be much thinner, like Peepers’ and there’s not supposed to be white between the eyeliner and the eyelid (Jeannie has a white gap, she also has black on her ears). I didn’t know brown was an allowable color for dwarf hotots? But either way, he is ADORABLE! And the brown makes him so unique!

  this says the eyebands darken with age, if they look dark chocolate at a young age, they will likley be black. but yes Chocolate is an accepted variety of the Dwarf Hotot.

  This reminds me: Did the breeder tell you that it’s pronounced “hoe-toe”, not “hot-tot”. I learned that on BB a long while back… I never knew that before.

  lol its “oh-toe” actually, but it is commonly pronounced with the H as well :p

  Jenny is NOT a happy camper! lol, I cleaned Peepers cage today, since he is not litter trained yet it gets stinky pretty fast…well I automaticly took the the stuff to the basement garbage, as that whats its for… I walk downstairs again a few minuts later and there is suddenly a bunch of Jenny poops around that garbage can! Jenny NEVER goes potty outside her box. then this evening I went down to spend my training and playtime with her, and normally as soon as I come down she races onto my bed doing binkies and running around me in loops..but she didnt come..I called and called… nothing, I had to bribe her with those sugary drop treats just to convince her to at least say hi to me! it was like a big “hrpmh, how dare you cheat on me!”

  Jenny is still marking, but she seems to have forgiven me today as she came running up to me again doing binkies and bouncing around me in circles :p Peepers did his first binkies today as well, I let him hang out in the bathroom while I was showering and after I got out I was having the hardest time convincing myself to get dressed..because watching Peepers race around the room doing binkies and head flicks, and running off the towels and launch himself into a slide across the bare floor etc.. was too darn cute to tear my eyes away!
