last night Jenny didnt something I dont understand at all..she was all happy and learning her tricks then she wandered off and layed down in front of the shelf for a rest..this is all normal, she does the same thing every night..but then she suddenly jumped up into a sitting postion with her ears flat against her head, so so flat and straight back that they were folded along the contours of her body..its was really weird..her head looked bent! then she would slowly raise 1 ear twisted out the the side, and pin it back down again suddenly. she was so quite and still for so long that I was seriously scared that she was about to keel over!  concerned I tapped the ground to call her over to me, and she simpley hopped up 100% normal and and pranced over to say hi.  I have had her for well over a year, and I have never seen her do such a thing before, she has never acted anything even slightly similer to that when she been spooked before.

Maybe spooked or was offended? Check out the Language of Lago site for some clues. http://language.rabbitspeak.com/rabbittalk.html
They can fold ears down when relased and sleeping but if standing, it could be due to anger or fear. There are subtle differences in their body language that mean a variety of things and we don’t always get to know what was going on!

It sounds to me like she heard a sound outside your home that you didn’t notice, and was alert/frightened at first, then scanning for the sound again. They can hear things we can’t, or are oblivious to. Could have been a dog visiting somewhere nearby that barked.

I have 7 dogs…. if there was anything unusual outside, believe, I would know! she does spook when my dogs start barking at outside sounds, but none of them made a peep lol

Yea, I think sometimes mine smell raccoons outside because my windows are open. It will be so quiet in my room, and then someone sounds the alarm and I get scared to death!!
