I just got a Lionhead Bunny yesterday afternoon. I know it’s going to take time for him to get used to my, but is there any advice on bonding somewhat quickly with him?

I’ve been hangout out in m room where his cage is and talking to him. But I wasn’t sure if there was anything else I should/shouldnt do.

          LOL
I saw your subject line and was prepared to move it to the bonding section!
Congratulations on your new boy!!!! It helps the bonding if you post photos we can drool over….

Seriously. You are off to a good start. He needs to become comfortable with his new home, smells, sounds. Let him continue to know your voice, pet him in the cage but keep your fingers together when reaching in so he doesn’t think you have claws like a predator, and go slowly, palms up to give him little nose rubs. Put a treat in your hand too, to get him to associate you with good stuff.
When you let him out, limit the space, but lie on the floor and ignore him by reading a book or watching tv. You will feel little curious whiskers as he explores you. It’s good for them to come to you that way. Don’t startle him, but gently pet him when he gets closer.
