Yeah, I agree that keeping Eyore was a wonderful decision for both of you! He obviously has an awesome home with you, and who knows where he would’ve gone had you returned him. i mean I know shelters screen their adoptive bunparents, but still…
Anyway, he sounds like he’s really relaxing and gaining some trust in you. In my book, bunny licks are reserved for only a bunny’s favorite people! I’ve had my fuzzy lop, Nelli, for 2 years now- we adopted her when she was 4 months old, just a big baby furball. She still runs from me and acts like I’m gonna attack at any moment, I may only pet her if I’ve been VERY good (according to Nell) and even then, I’m just allowed to touch Nelli’s front half only- absolutely no bum patting
. Bunny kisses?!?! Not a chance- lol. So don’t be discouraged- Eyore is warming up much faster then my Nelli is. And really, I love the way she is- a constant challenge
