  So my mum was in her cleaning mode and started to clean Rufus cage (really don’t ask me what came over her!) Now Rufus cage is Bugz and Anyas old cage that was a temp cage that I built and was not the best but it worked. However it really was a bit green around the edges and also some of the cubes had been chewed up and I had attempted to replace and the whole thing was fine but just looks like it was going to fall down so unknown to me my mother went hutch shopping!
  
  She came across this http://www.bonofido.com/s.nl/it.A/id.280/.f not what I would have bought but fits in the space that I have and will be easier to clean and is bigger then it looks, Rufus can sit on his butt and sit up without hitting his head on the bottom section. Dad went to Bunnings and got a board for it to sit on and we switched the wheels over and lino tiled the floor and Rufus is all moved in. he has been up and down the ramp and checked everything out and now is sleep in on his back in the middle of the bottom.

  The other good thing is Mum noticed that in the last few days when Rufus needs to jump from level to level in the old house he struggled in fact he would not make it sometimes and then fall down. Mum was worried that he would hurt himself and it would also explain why he stopped using the top level of his old condo so much happier he has ramps now.
  
  Oh and i know this is an outdoor hutch but it is for indoors.
  
  I had always aimed to bond Rufus with Bugz and Anya but did a few attempts and thinking this is not going to end up working, Anya and Rufus are Ok but Bugz and Rufus it is all out war fare, so glad I had gloves because Bugz turns into a nija pocket rocket when he wants to!
  
  On a side note I got really annoyed when I called a lady to help me with the bonding and her recommendations was to give up Bugz as he would be easier for them to rehome and then adopt another female???? WTF?????? Would rather put up with cleaning two cages and having to divide out of the hutch time then give up one of my babies!

  Your parents were sweet to do that for you & Rufus! And it must be nice there was no waiting around like the last rabbit habitat you got made. Sound like Rufus has really taken to it too.

  Yeah it is nice, granted nowhere near the same size but for little old him it is fine. Was a bit of a suprise when i walked in the door and it was half put together on my living room floor!

  Yeah Grrrrr at the lady! I would rather give up my right arm and if for some reason i had to give up a rabbit (however I can never see a reason) but if i had had to then it would be Anya so I would be in the same position anyway! And this lady calls herself a rabbit lover!

  Ha sorry never thought that someone would read the heading that way. MirBear wish i could loan them out or at least keep them like this for a while, it is rare that they do something like this.
  
  On another note Rufus has discovered that if you thump on the top level the plastic base makes a great sound, not such an issue except that he starts thumping at about 4am!

  Ok finally got my cable back from my boss so can post some pictures of Rufus new home.
  
  So we have Rufus in his new home, and yes we felt the need to poop all over the base of it!

  And Bugz trying to convince me that he did not chew on the outside of Rufus new diggs!

  I’d say if Rufus is pooping all over his new digs, he wants any rabbits in the vicinity to know he likes it…all over the place! Congratulations, those are swell digs for Rufus, sweet of your parents to get that for him. And little Bugz is a treasure! Looks like he’s saying, hey, momma, when do I get to be in there? LOL

  Thanks guys and Yes Bugz is a funny little guy! Rufus can get into the top but spends most of the time around the bottom, however the other day i lost the cat and then went to get Rufus out for his run and found him and her asleep in the top section, she had been in there for about 3 hours! I am going to have to watch her, not so worried about Rufus and her as they are in love, she even lets him hump her *face palms* and they groom each other and just hang out, only issue is that Rufus has started eating her food and she eats his to I have to watch them closely!

  Lol, oh yes, I don’t think any of us will forget that ordeal you had with Mr. Bugz’s cage! He is really cute though…lol. You can just read the expression on his face ..”Uhmmmmmmm excuse me…what the heck is this!? and why is HE in it and not ME?!! MOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!” Lol!!!

  I did a cage swap last night Rufus in their cage and them in his more just to see what everyone would do, wish i got a photo of Bugz on the side of the cage going ‘let me out it is small and smells funny in here HELPPPPPPPPPPP” Rufus could not have cared less!
