I’ve posted that I had to give Gracie a bath and then another one (she has issues sometimes).  We got her all cleaned up and blow dried but there’s a few spots that got a little matted (on her back end she can’t reach).  I combed her a little and combed her some more today…so I think she’s good now.  The nesporin helped with the one spot that was red but I found another spot where there was matted fur and I pulled it a little to see what it was and there was a small spot where it was bleeding.  I put more neosporin and hopefully it’ll heal.  I don’t know if it was from me combing or maybe possibly Archie.  I going to cut his nails tonight if this is the reason.  I just never seen a bunny do this before and thought it was well kind of sweet in a way.  She lets him do it too, doesn’t really move.

Here he is trying to get the matted fur from Gracie.  I caught him doing this a few days ago too and he was actually pull the fur out with his teeth (and eating it).  Not sure what to make of it other than he was trying to help her out.  I did stop him after I taped it…it just looked a little violent.

Wow. Thats… kinda funny, in a weird way She let him do it, so I guess she wasn’t mad at him! Maybe he just wants her to look sleek and pretty without matted fur again

LOL Ok, it’s not really funny, but it kind of is. He wants to make sure she looks her best! I guess my Eddie isn’t so weird now. hehe I would think the marks are probably from him. I have no clue how to get him to stop since she obviously doesn’t mind. Hmmm…..

Hahaha. That cracked me up. I’ve never seen something like that, but then Hannah goes for Otto’s eyes like she’s going to eat them, so rough grooming isn’t uncommon in our house.

That is funny. At first I thought that he was just trying to get her to move, and so I expected a nip to soon follow, but after watching it more, it really doesn’t seem like aggression. So odd

Edited to add: I just started thinking…is he digging where she had the sore spots? It might be that he thinks it smells funny and is trying to “dig” the offensive scent out.

My rabbit does this to me when i’m wearing jeans and he wants to lick my leg. He might be trying to get to something.

Neigey does it to Lint but Lint would never endure it that long! It definitely is not good for Gracie’s skin. Was she parked in a corner? I think he wanted her to move.

Had Eddie do this to me yesterday. LOL I had to adjust the temperature on my water heater and was sitting on the floor. He had to see what was going on so came up and dug/scratched at my back. Never mind that there was enough room for the dingbat to come around me and see. hehe But he does this when i’m doing something and he wants to see.
