My bunny is around a year and a half and super friendly. He didn’t even go through the teenage stage. He does not dig or chew or cause any trouble and has the run of the garage and can’t come inside because he poops everywhere. He is getting neutered Wednesday. We are petsitting another bunny and I let them out seperate. Romeo has never shown any agression but when the bunny who is  a boy hopped over to his cage he growled and tried to bite him! Will this stop as soon as he gets neutered or will it take  awhile. I have the bunny for two weeks. Also I was planning to maybe get him a companion in the future. Does this mean he will do better as a single rabbit? He does not show agression towards other animals such as dogs and cats why is this?

        Thanks

It’s a territorial thing. You’d have to do introductions and plenty of bonding sessions before putting another bunny in with him in his space. Neutering will help. Definitely don’t introduce another bunny to him for at least a month after having him neutered. The pooping is also territorial, and will likely calm down after the neuter as well.

It’s official. He is territorial. Today I pet the other Rabbit Romeo peed on me. This has now happend twice. Good news I made his appointment to get neutered. Bad news its not for another month.
