Last night I was trying to do something fancy to my hair…at any rate, I have this big mirror that I can prop up to see if I am getting close to some kind of something with the hair. I set the mirror down while I went back into the bathroom to try to tease it more ( I am making a 60’s Pouf thing) and came back into the bedroom.

Jackson had caught sight of himself in the mirror.

His first reaction? try to mount Coco so that OTHER bunny knows this is his woman. No aggression, but Coco looked at him like he’d lost his fool mind.

Then she went over to her reflection – and groomed her reflection. Hopped away.

Jackson continued to peer at the Mirror Jackson, approaching him from various sides and angles, then running – which scared him because the mirror rabbit moved too.

Coco was completely unimpressed and lay down in front of the fan.

I feel like I saw some fundamental insight into the rabbit genders here.

LOL! That would be so funny to see! I have seen kittens see them selves in the mirror, but never a bunny!

Same here, I have a full length door closet door mirror in the bunny room, but they just lay next to it and ignore it (or maybe they think they’re ignoring the mirror bunnies?)

Hmm none of mine have seen a mirror before. Would be interesting to see what they do.

Sammy and Spockie have both ignored full length mirrors. Maybe they’re vampire bunnies and their reflections never showed…

Monkey would probably demand grooms from it, then get cranky when it wouldn’t do so.

Tulip recently saw a mirror for the first time. She kept curiously approaching it, touching the “other” bunny with her nose. She’s quite the diva, so I’m sure the bunny in the mirror was stunning.
