Heehee…they are smarter than us. And they know we can’t get our big old bodies much less our heads under the bed to snatch them.

I definitely think that rabbits go through moods just like humans do. Sometimes I wake up and don’t feel like doing anything, let alone go for my daily run and go to work. Oliver is the same… one morning I’ll let him out after breakfast and he’ll binky around and act like a complete dork. Other times he just cozies up in a corner of the room and falls asleep, lol. Maybe your bun wasn’t feeling grumpy, but just found a comfy spot?

Eddie is my little moody boy. One minute he’s giving me kisses. The next thing I know he’s giving me his butt. He hates when I’m on the phone and will come and just sit there and look grumpy. He came out from under the bed the other day just to give me the stink face for some reason. And he gets pouty sometimes where he’ll act like he’s sick but he’s not. He’s just mad about something and wants fussed over. I have a little drama king on my hands. lol

Lolli doesn’t get mood but she sure does get smart alecky. LOL I open their pen up to block off a couple of areas when I let them out. So to put them back in, I have to give them some treats to keep them occupied while I pull it closed. When she decides she’s not going in the pen, she’ll hop off and sit JUST OUTSIDE the pen. Then she’ll dart back in to get another treat and dart back out. Frustrates me to no end. And forget about it if either one decides they aren’t doing something. They go under the bed and refuse to come out. lol

My bun’s also been shedding A LOT lately. I’m grabbing big tufts of fur between my fingers every time I pet him. He’s probably getting tired of me grabbing his butt every time I walk in the room! I worry that he may be ingesting a lot of the fur but I guess as long as his behavior doesn’t change, he’ll be fine. Hope your bun is doing better RabbitPam!

There is a way to get a rabbit to come out from under a bed… I can’t name names but I know of someone who coaxed a rabbit from under their bed by jumping on the bed and sort of broke it in the process… the rabbit did not get injured but obviously it isn’t a great way to coax them out…~

Hey! *hangs head* It was my hubby…. No bunnies were hurt in the process! I was out of town and he was watching them. He let them in the bedroom and they went under the bed. Our bed is really low to the ground, perfect size for bunnies. Usually we would use a broom to push/poke them out but he had the great idea to jump on the bed to scare them out. It did not go according to plan. Instead he bent the entire metal beam that runs the length of the bed! Not terribly but enough…I got home and crawled into bed that night and there was a big pit in the middle of the bed! I looked under the bed and he had it propped up with all kinds of weird things, he had opted not to mention it until I noticed it! Men…

I shake Bing’s bag of dried bananas and as soon as he hears them, he bolts from where ever he is hiding to get some of those! I switched it over to pellets recently because of the amount of times I have to do this a week lol. He still likes the sound though.
