It looks like she is having a bunny period, for lack of a better word.  Is that about right at 4 months old?  The vet said 6 months was when I should spay her, she’s so tiny and all.   She hasn’t had carrots or anything orange.  It is a slight orange color instead of red like one would expect for menstrual blood.  Her pee spots are either white or yellow (since she’s on fleece I’m guessing it turns the spot white when she goes) and this doesn’t look like what I’ve seen before.

          Bunnies don’t have periods…

Monkey’s pee is often reddish, mostly from the veggies she eats. Sometimes the pee can be yellow coming out, but redden as it dries too. Unless you see dark specks in it, there isn’t anything to worry about really.

Some rabbitss pee can range from clearish white to orange/red. My bunny Davey’s pee is regualrly red/orange, I can tell when he has accidents!

If it’s urine, it could just be color change due to diet or something.   See  http://www.rabbit.org/journal/3-1/red-urine.html

However, if it is watery poo or diarrhea, that is something you will have to watch very closely.   If you are not sure, I’d check her rear to as sometimes diarrhea, can make for a messy bum to (though they can clean it off)  Gross, I know.

She doesn’t have any problem with her poos really…except she has a lot of them !! ahaha She was smelling the spots herself like “What is this??” so I don’t know. She didnt’ have anything orange or red to eat. Could be her diet though. She did get some fresh clover out of the yard I haven’t given her in about a week or two. It had just rained and I picked a lovely pile for her. She loved it though

it isn’t just red or orange food that can cause orange urine Other veggies can too, like spinach. Not sure if clover does, never tried clover with my buns.

You are not a full-fledged rabbit slave till you worried about pee colors~
Blood would turn up in blackish clots. It looks nothing like the plant pigments that make rabbit urine red.

Ah yes I remember when I saw Bun’s orange pee and thought it was blood and I completely freaked out. I think I got a gray hair from that.

Something about diet and how the oxygen can change it’s color as it dried is what I read.

                            Oh yes, I recognize this!
My bunny would pee on the carpet occasionally before she was spayed
Now its all in her litter box so no need to worry lol.
