When I give Lolli attention when they are near their pen area, Eddie gets jealous and will go after Lolli.  The mean chasing where he’s actually nipping/biting her.   Yes, Eddie gets attention too.  lol  Eddie gets more attention than lolli cause he’s an attention wh*re.   Sigh.  I have realized that to prevent this mean chasing,  I should simply give Lolli attention at other places besides in/near the pen area, but this not fair to Lollipop who actually likes nose pets and strokes now and Eddie is just being an arse.

Is there anything else I can do besides not giving poor Lolli attention in the pen area?    I try to give them each equal attention.  Eddie is His Royal Majesty and Highness and poor Lolli and me are just his lowly servants.  So equal attention hasn’t worked.  I’m just a frustrated human who doesn’t get Eddie’s stupid jealously.  I am apparently the only one having issues with this as it doesn’t seem to phase Lollipop.  lol

Pet them at the same time. Have them sit side by side and use one hand on each bunny

I’ve already tried that. Doesn’t matter. He still goes after her. Sigh. Stupid males. LOL

Actually come to think of it, I think he always chases her wherever they are in the apartment and I’m giving them attention. It just seems a lot worse near the pen area. He just chases her off. But in/near the pen, he’ll actually do the nipping/biting chasing like when I was trying to bond them. Again, stupid males and their egos. LOL

I don’t have any experience with this for bunnies- but I do know for dogs that trainers recommend giving the dominant dog attention first.  If dogs have established their pack and order, you do not want to create confusion or aggression by not recognizing their order.  But dogs are predators compared to bunnies that are prey animals.

I can see why you would feel bad- but I guess try to sneak in the pets for Lolli- because if Eddie chases and nips her it would only negate the benefits she gets from being petted I would think.

Boys- can’t do anything with them, can’t live without them!
