Is your bunny male or female? There is always a big risk of having an intact bunny, but I’m not sure if the vet can catch all early signs of cancer , but still it would be essential for you to take him/her to check-ups twice a year if you have no plans of neutering you bunny.
As for me, my bunnies only see the vet, if I find something wrong with them. I watch their poop and pee every day, I check their eating habits and generally keep a close eye on any change of behaviour. So, if I don’t find any reasons for it, I don’t bring them to the vet.
Where do you live now? It is a bit tricky to come up with prices as we all live different places. But a general vet visit here would cost around $100, if there was nothing wrong with the bunny that required extra examination et.c.
Why would you vaccinate against rabbies? It happens very rarely that a rabbit would catch rabbies and it would require that it was in contact with someone who was infected.
