If you can ring around, find another vet that sees rabbits and tell them it’s urgent. Or take the rabbit into an emergency vet. You have to move quickly on this sort of thing in baby rabbits. It likely is from it being weaned too young. You might want to ring the breeder also. I hope you can get the baby seen soon!

Ummm, do you know that you aren’t suppose to give rabbits milk… Unless you meant to say formula milk for rabbits?

Only 3 weeks old? That rabbit should stay with his/her mother for extra few weeks. I believe it is should be 5 or 6 weeks for baby rabbits to be adopt.

It looks like the breeder you got him from doesn’t care and isn’t interested in doing the right thing and I’m not sure I would take him to back to such an unfit breeder in the first place.  I’m not sure why he said ”That is sad” when the breeder himself shouldn’t have weaned him this early, as you know.  That really is just terrible.

Did the vet give you any suggestions as far as feeding?

I don’t have alot experience in this area but here are some links that may be helpful for your situation – one of the links suggests KMR (Kitten milk replacer you can buy at petstores)
