I’ve had my 2 bunnies for a week now and in the last couple of days, they’ve worked out how to climb up onto my bed (they live in my room with me) I thought it was very cute at first as they came up to get some attention. But then One of my rabbits, starting peeing on my bed?and then my other one starting doing it to? they dont pee anywhere else in my room when there out they go back in there cage to do their business. But i have a double bed and the side i sleep on is where they pee and it isnt just once. once they both pee’d on my bed about 4 times in the space of a hour. Does anyone kno why this could be? or how i can stop it?

Also I noticed a few hours ago that there were two cecals in their cage is it normal for them sometimes not to eat it?

How old are your rabbits and are they altered?

Yeah, at that age, you need to not let them on the bed and keep their area small. Babies don’t usually have the discipline yet and you have to teach them to use the litter box – start small otherwise you may have pooping and peeing everywhere.

I agree. You get them in the habit of good habits in and around their cage and accouterments, then let the explore an ever-widening area for play and exercise, once they know to go back to the house for their food, litter and water.

Rabbits will pee on your bed and pillow because in the room, that is the place strongest in your scent. They’re becoming territorial and are trying to remark the area so that they can claim it. Once they get a place to go, they often try to use it over and over again. You’ll need to somehow seal off your bed from them and give them an alternate litter box to use – put some of their poops and some paper towel with their pee into it so they know it’s theirs.

Ponyo did the exact same thing on my bed when he came home, and he’s still not allowed up here very much.
Sometimes he’ll hop up, and I’ll have him on my lap as long as he’ll stand it, but when he starts roaming around or digging it’s back-down-to-earth-time now, buddy. xD

When you clean your sheets, just make sure you do it VERY well. If they can still smell their scents on them (Which even after a few normal washes, they can) the habit is more likely to continiue if they DO start coming up for cuddles in the future. You could do what I did and just but all new bedwear though.
