         Hi!

I’m getting Poppy as you know, but my mum no want two bunny. She insist that Kai was happy as one bun, but I hear that two is important. We has other pet, but is rabbit friend very important?

It’s important that they have company – but that can be human company. So since you plan to have Poppy indoors and eventually free range, she’ll be fine. Since Poppy is a baby bun, it would be wise just to have the one for now. Sometimes you can get littermates but they do not always stay friends. When they reach puberty they can begin to fight and you have to separate them then bond them after they are neutered.

Baby rabbits can be alot of work too. Litter training, behaviours associated with age etc. I advise you listen to Mum for now and once Poppy is older you can work on talking Mum into another.

I agree with everything  jerseygirl has said, so I have nothing more to say really except— Double Ditto. Later down the road if this something you want to pursue and your mom is up for it then maybe it’s something you can consider, but right now, you have enough to deal with and Poppy has you. And you sound like you care very much for her so she’s going to be just fine.

If you give your bunnies toys and entertainment, your bun will be happy. Also by spending time bonding with your bun, you will find yourself becoming attached to your bun and your bun will become attached to you.

                I have a single girl.

Life changes when you have your bun with you One is a handful for me LOL!! Enjoy your bun!!

Having two buns is awesome, but it isn’t something you should rush into. With two buns, they bond to each other, and sometimes the people are ignored. With one bun, you would probably get much more attention from your bunny. I had my girl as a single bunny for almost a year, and I love having that special one-on-one time to bond with her myself.

That is exactly what I originally think, I think I take to being bunny mum very easy!
